The Reserve at Richardson

In April 2025 I ended up in ER for pressure wounds. From there, LTAC and then The Reserve. I had no idea I'd be bedbound for 4 months. 100 days at the Reserve. Overall the staff was friendly. Roy was always available for questions or complaints. The CNA staff work hard and the nurses care about their jobs. It is very frustrating to be in the facility or to have a loved one admitted in one, but I dont think under the circumstances and design you will find a friendlier environment to live or recover. Wound Care nurse knows her stuff. Kitchen is lacking, but it's exactly what you'd expect at a SNF. If I needed more care, I'd try to utilize this facility again.

My mom and dad both live at the reserve. I cannot say enough good things about this place. From the cleaning staff, the care givers, nursing staff, the therapist, the director and everyone else, they all care. I would like to note this is not normal for a facility like this. My parents are always clean and with clean clothes. They were able to heal a terrible pressure injury my mom ‘s heel the she got prior to coming to the facility. I am so grateful to have my parents at the reserve. I am also so very grateful for ALL of the staff. Thank you all for everything you do!

I want to thank the reserve for caring for my mother the 3 weeks after her hospital stay. The social worker was nice and responsive. My mom really liked her aides Jewel and Theresa. She got a kick (no pun intended) out of Brandon in PT. She liked Andrew and Alex as well. Everyone was nice to me as I visited my mom daily. I can’t remember the lady’s name at the front desk. But she was always so pleasant and warm when I signed in. Thank you Reserve! We pray we won’t be back, except for a visit.
