The new management changes suck. Only one car per tenant, so if you have a second car and no roomate they will tow your vehicle. Secondly when I had renters insurance they still charged me for their premium without real communication. I got a notice to renew my renter's insurance but wasn't aware I need to add the new management. In just 12 month I had to place over 10 maintenance request, and even though the maintenance repair have been fast everything is still falling apart. When remodeling was being done and chimney were exposed you could see mold all down the walls. Before all the changes I was considering to renew my lease but honestly it's not worth it.

Update 3: all of the positive reviews for this place are fake. They sent out an email with an incentive to leave a review. Don’t move here. Maria still has not contacted me and continues to ignore emails. Completely unprofessional behavior. Update 2: the response to this review from Chisolm place is meaningless. They misspelled my name and said “if I feel” this way. I obviously feel disrespected. The office staff and whoever replied to this has no idea how to talk to people or how to manage an apartment complex. They don’t even know the plans of the construction. No response to my emails when I asked for the plan. Maria told me she had to walk over to the workers and ask when they will be done. That’s a clear indication that she has no idea what is going on in the complex and now she is avoiding me since I called her out. She has no idea what is going on in the complex because she is hardly ever here. Update 1: Daily disruptions due to “updates”. The office fails to notify tenants when work will be done. There is no clear plan outlining these “updates” that are supposedly for the tenants. Worst office management I’ve ever experienced. Original: Extremely disappointed since Westdale took over. The front desk staff—especially Maria—has been dismissive and unhelpful. Management ignores repeated complaints, fails to enforce the lease agreement, and openly tells residents they can move out rather than addressing issues. There's been constant, disruptive construction with little or no notice, and overall communication is terrible. What used to be a decent place to live has become stressful and poorly managed.

Living here has truly been a blessing. I am very grateful for the opportunity to be part of this community, where everything is kept clean, organized, and in harmony. What I value the most is that whenever an issue comes up, it gets resolved in less than 24 hours, which brings great peace of mind. I also appreciate all the improvements that have been made with the well-being of the residents in mind. It’s a beautiful, safe place with a family-friendly environment where even our pets are welcome. Everything is close by, making shopping and daily life so much easier. From the heart, I invite you to come see it and, why not, make this your home too. You won’t regret it—this is truly an excellent place to call home.

I’ve signed my lease for another year here at Chisholm Place. The renovations have made my apartment more energy efficient and thus my electric bill is lower. It’s close to Plano’s walking trails and easy access to main streets and freeways. The location is great! It’s an older complex which means the trees are bigger, more windows and a feeling of more space. I love where I live.

My husband and I move in here back and February and we are very happy with our choice. They are currently refurbishing all of the outdoor spaces, painting all the buildings, and updating the landscaping and so far it looks amazing. The property managers are super friendly and will help you with anything you need. Our two story apartment is super spacious and we are very lucky to have a great outdoor space as well. Overall I would recommend living here.
