Terrible experience having to deal with leasing office, people here will be nice to you but they dont care about any issues that you are having and wont do anything to help or fix the issue, they will just tell you to report it online and they dont follow up or reply that they never got the message, but they are quick to charge any extra fee without explanation. Communication for updates or news is terrible, they just send an email and if you did not read it well you are screwed, they can close the laundry room without any signs on site and will excuse saying they sent an email, but if you send an email and they dont read it the only person screwed its you because they take zero accountability for their mistakes, and good luck requesting anything after 5 pm, its ghost town and they will take action next day if you are lucky or simply ignore you, had issues updating my renters insurance, sent them emails and never got a response back until I had to go to the office only to hear do it online, terrible experience they do not care at all about you or any issues you might have but hey they will be nice to you, I do not recommend living here.

Berlinda & her team are so great with providing fast solutions and responses. I'm the summer my new A/c unit went out at around 4pm on a Friday. The team was so fast to respond to my late afternoon request to fix. Within two hours it was repaired and running. Gotta love the on site maintenance.

Cottonwood Apartment appliances, & infrastructures are 60+ years old. Majority of my neighbors are pretty rambunctious and inconsiderate. They love slamming the front door and blasting loud music. People smoke weed inside and the smell translates through the air-duct vents. There’s a mold problem due to the lack of ventilation plus there’s no bathroom vents available for smells and excrement. There’s only one common area light that is used for the kitchen, dining area and living room. No central living-room lighting so; you’ll need lamps, I have four. The bedroom doesn’t have a light fixture. But there’s four bulbs over the sink and a separate light in the toilet/tub area. It looks as if they painted over the past tenants hair and grime in the tubs and the tubs do chip pretty well. There is often emergency water shut off. This is often very inconvenient and random. It happens several times a week sometimes; there are days when they only turn off the hot water. However, The closet is big enough to be a room. These apartments are old so you will hear your neighbors walking pretty consistently, it’s loud and annoying at times and the walls are thin. It was nearly impossible to get in touch with anyone about leasing, maintenance and rent issues in July 2024 when I moved in. The leasing office is rarely open. I toured vacancies on my own electronically since there’s Yale locks on every door. I use SmartRent for my Locks and AC. Everything is done through the UDR app system or the SmartRent app, it’s quite intuitive. You can lock and unlock your doors from anywhere and change the entrance code.
