University Village at Prairie View

My visit was a past the buck sending you here and their. I will caution parents about sending their kid to this HBC. Unorganized, unprofessional, emails unanswered, can never get a human on the line. For 3 years, my grandson put in for housing on time,and always their is a problem. The advisors, one in particular, what are they their for when a kid comes to them,seem to be their to only collect a paycheck, not their for the kids. Everything is email,you have 2 companies collecting rent and both charging late fees, which I consider a rip off. Communication on this campus is very poor. Now I understand why some kids don't want to go to college,his experience with PV has been horrible,and I will make sure this is known .

It is not too bad living here especially when you meet friends or get to know your roommates. Sometimes there are some problems around but I think the new maintenance company has been doing a good job in my opinion. I would recommend asking for opinions if you are interested in staying here.

I had the pleasure of meeting with the Resident Director Adri-Ana Marshall, and I can honestly say it was one of the most productive meetings that I have had with someone at her level. I know the issues on college campus can be overwhelming for the housing department; however, it was wonderful to know that PV has a staff who takes issues seriously and address them in a timely and professional manner. She listened to my concerns and addressed each one with an honest answer. I left the meeting feeling very satisfied and appreciated her taking time to meet with me.
