There are more cost effective places to live near TTU, but none that are nicer or more secure or convenient, particularly for a single resident. Living at the West Village has been a highlight of my TTU graduate experience.

There isn't a better place to live on campus at Texas Tech. I've been here for four years and plan on staying through graduate school. Absolutely love it here.

This is by far the best on-campus living experience you’ll have, I choose West Village 1000x over off-campus housing. Clean and nice. Good staff. Great workers.

This complex is gorgeous! The CA's are so kind and the community is great! I'm staying in West village B on the third floor currently and I am loving it so far. This is an apartment style Dorm with comfy beds and spacious rooms, bathrooms, and living areas!

This place has nice decor on the outside, but the inside is far worse. Have a dispute with a random roommate? Get ready to have Studen Code of Conduct give you a demerit because there is no way to disprove what they claim. Want to get a dog? Wait 3 weeks to get approval, and if they find the dog before that time they will get the dog out. The general policies in the place are confusing. They rarly make attempts to correct any confusion or questions about the policies. The CA’s are really just students out to get you for when you mess up. I’ve only had one good CA here. They try to advertise it like an apartment, but it’s really an overpriced dorm where you can’t do anything you want. I strongly recommend that you stay away from this place and just go to another apartment complex off of campus.
