Very dissapointed, 24/7 security is a lie, do not live here if that's a priority (Cars have been broken into). Any issues will never be addressed and you will be constantly waiting for a resolution. If you have any issues, you will be helped as slowly as possibe. Gym is rarely cleaned. Gate does not work properly so do not expect extra security. Pool is never open. Energy bills seems over-inflated and you're stuck paying for it.

1st leasing year was okay, although I was without AC for the first two weeks (my thermostat literally maxed out at 99 during these days). Other than that, it was fine. However, I started a short term lease for this second year and even though I am paying almost $1000 to live at a 4 bedroom apartment, the service has been so much worse. They returned a $130 package because my name wasn’t in the right spot (my name was still there, just in smaller lettering) and instead of just holding the package for at least a week to give me a chance to pick it up and let me verify it was mine they just returned it to usps and because of it the package is now lost and it was not an item that could be easily replaced. My XL closet racks fell down and has not been fixed and it’s been almost a month. I was told I would have to wait for any of my maintenance requests to be fixed until new residents moved in. Well it has been 20 days since new resident move in and still nothing. They are still telling me because of their “mass move in” that they still aren’t available to fix any of me or my roommates issues. Unless you are a new resident, you do not matter. The people who work the front office phones have been kind any time they’ve spoken to me, but that’s not much to say compared to everything else that has gone wrong. Pool has been closed all summer with no explanation besides “maintenance issues”. I am counting the days when I get to move out in December. The extra rent is worth getting to leave this place earlier. I read the one star reviews right before I moved in and I should have listened to be honest. I’m paying more here than I would have at a 1 bedroom apartment with a way better maintenance system. Don’t move here it is not worth the stress. Update November 2025: By the way they also like to charge $250 if one of your ROOMMATES, not you, has an unregistered dog. It’s genuinely greedy behavior, I have less than a month until I move out and I am so excited. Update December 2025: I am moved out and they charged me $360 for “cleaning” and “damages”, which I’m sure most of the damages are from how many times my closet fell down due to their poor maintenance.

I lived here for three years, across two different units, and should have moved out immediately. I kept hoping things would get better, but they never did. During my time at The Republic, I spent more than 35 days without air conditioning or electricity. During one inspection, my roommate informed management that I was showering upstairs, and the male manager let himself into my room while the female manager stayed downstairs. He proceeded to photograph my room. The pool was closed every summer during my four years here. The gym was rarely cleaned- bandages and even blood would remain on the equipment for weeks or months before being addressed. My roommates car and 4 others nearby were broken into. The Republic did nothing to help. I’ve repeatedly fought for fair treatment and never received it. I was promised compensation for issues I faced the month before moving out- my AC unit flooded and caused the ceiling to collapse while I was away on vacation. Every time I traveled, I’d tell my friends, “I hope I don’t come home to a problem.” Without fail, I’d return to a broken AC, power outage, or flooding issue. The Republic later denied ever promising compensation, despite email proof. They have new staff every four months and can’t seem to keep anyone. Their maintenance team has undergone constant turnover- and not for the better. My toilet was used by maintenance staff without my permission, and when our AC went out, they installed “temporary window units” with exposed siding. I could have pushed one right out of the window. Do not live here. And if you already do- move. It was an exhausting three years, and I wish I had left much sooner. I don't know who is working the front desk now- you neglect to respond to my emails so do not respond here. I am disappointed with the lack of morality from Amanda & Hayden during my final months on property. These are just a few photos. I’d attach screenshots of emails but we’d be here a while.

DO NOT LIVE HERE The Republic is a complete nightmare If I could give this place zero stars i would. If you’re even thinking about signing a lease here, save yourself the money, stress, and regret. This place has been the single worst living experience of my life, and management made everything a hundred times worse instead of fixing problems. This so called “community” is nothing more than a scam wrapped in false advertising, run by management that treats tenants like disposable paychecks rather than human beings. Ceiling Leaks & Neglect: Our ceiling leaked, and the damage was never repaired. In fact all they did was put a bucket in my room and left! Weeks turned into months, and management did absolutely nothing. Imagine paying rent to live under rotting, water-damaged ceilings. FILTHY. AC That Never Worked: The air conditioning unit was permanently broken, constantly freezing over, making the house either unbearably cold or sticky and miserable. Because of this, our electric bills skyrocketed every month. We paid extra money just to suffer in our own home. Infested with Bugs: The bug problem was massive crawling across walls, floors, everywhere. We reported it repeatedly. Management lied to our faces, claiming they sprayed the inside when they didn’t. We know because one roommate was home during the “treatment” and saw no one. Safety? Nonexistent. Our house was broken into. We followed every step management told us: emailed them all the details, filed the reports, begged for help. Their response? Nothing. They refused to let us out of the lease. Their “solution” was to demand we pay off the rest of the contract if we wanted out of our lease. So, after being violated in our own home, we were financially punished on top of it. Scamming Tenants on Rent: When we re-signed our lease, we were explicitly promised that the rate would stay the same at $649. That was a lie. After moving out, we were still being billed rent and utilities, only to discover the rent had jumped by $100. This is not just mismanagement; this is fraudulent behavior. Fake Amenities: The pool closed in April and stayed closed the ENTIRE summer. It is still closed. No swimming, no tanning, no amenities at all. I emailed them countless times about this and i was told that we don’t pay for this so it’s not an obligation they have to abide by. This is false advertising, plain and simple. The Bigger Picture: Every issue we faced like leaks, bugs, broken AC, security failures, dishonest billing, useless amenities points to one undeniable truth: The Republic is not a place to live, it’s a trap. They will take your money, ignore your problems, lie to your face, and then squeeze more out of you when you try to escape. A rotting ceiling above your head, bugs crawling at your feet, freezing in the winter and broke from the bills, lied to, scammed, and trapped in a lease. Management doesn’t fix, doesn’t care, doesn’t protect, doesn’t even bother to tell the truth. If you’re considering living here, don’t. Don’t even tour. Don’t even call. RUN in the opposite direction. The Republic is the definition of everything that can go wrong with rental housing: unsafe, dishonest, exploitative, and disgusting.

So far, so good. Our check in and move in went smoothly. Our son is in a 5x5 with friends. His apartment was clean upon arrival. His toilet is not working properly so he has to submit a repair request..... but otherwise a great experience!
