Terrible apartment complex. Managers are lazy and do not care one bit. I moved in August 13th and every day since then my apartment has smelt like weed because of my neighbors. I have called multiple times and have went into the office and I get told “do you have proof?” This is a non smoking property and yet I walk into my apartment smelling like weed every day. I have gotten told that a email would be sent out reminding others that it is a non smoking property and yet nothing has been done. My car got broken into last night and when I reported it and asked if I could see the security cameras I get told “they are for show, they don’t work”. There is a camera right outside my apartment and yet they don’t work. I do not feel safe one bit, considering my car was parked right in front of my door.

Awful experience since the day I moved in. Since the day I moved in the smell of weed has not left my apartment. The smell is coming through the HVAC system and the complex has not done anything about it even with multiple complaints to the office and managers. It is supposed to be a non smoking complex but it seems like that is not the case here. On top of that my car was broke in to last night, and the complex don't do anything about it. they only have "cameras for show" per them, so safety is not one of their main concerns.

Please do your research before you lease here. My roommates AC has been out since move in (almost 2 months ago), and staff has not been a help. We have been to the office 10 times, submitted multiple maintenance requests about it, and their staff just kept telling us to wait. After multiple weeks of no response, she decided to buy her own in unit AC. Additionally, the manager was rude when talking about it in person and hardly payed attention then walked away when trying to solve this issue. This apartment complex shows little to no effort in making residents happy. Most of the five star reviews are from incentives like coupons and gift cards; to which we received a few at move in and at least half of them were months ago expired. My final issue with this apartment was the filth upon move in. It was “clean” to the naked eye, but I found bandaids, hair ties, and overall unclean areas. There was even black mold growing in my roommates desk. On top of that, there were countless broken items, tears in couch etc. The WiFi is horrible and due to that my roommate was unable to complete her move in checklist in the 48 hours. Walked into the office to ask if we can submit it another way, and the manager just causally said my roommate has to pay for any existing damages. Very poor management. After calling and complaining to the assistant manager, I was even denied an appointment with the manager. I will not be renewing my lease. Edit: Forgot to mention water is shut off randomly with no notice.

If I could leave a 0 star I would. This might be the worst apartment in the vicinity of Texas Tech campus. The front office is full of unqualified and disrespectful people. They withhold paper mail for months on end before it is dropped into the drop box. The only positive about this place is the maintenance crew, they respond and fix the issues relatively fast. Overall, save your money and do research before you jump into an apartment. I will definitely finding a new apartment as soon as my current lease is over.

4.0. Pros are that there are no rodents, cockroaches in my apartment BIGGEST pro for me. Hot water is always available, maintenance is actually really really responsive and great, I said my drain was slow and the guy came next day with a drain snake. I never feel unsafe. Leasing office very helpful and ready to help, good customer service. I also like the access fob. All pros that made me renew esp the lack of bugs. Cons are that the wifi company Wirestar both secure and temp don’t work during the night which hurts in the nailbiting moments where things are due 11:59 i would say though in fairness its available 90% of the time, I only remember the times it wasn’t. Also kinda alot of trash outside near the bridge but the fault lies with the dumpster and the wind that carries the trash through.
