Please explain to me why there has been no resolution to the sewer smell in my home for the past 7 months?(since April/May) Yes, Ive put in maintenance requests for this issue at least 3 times if not more. We have never had a problem with a sewer smell untill they did their big Pipe Project. Lets not even mention that after they finished, they had to come back, tear up the floor again, and fix a leaking pipe, which by the way, the Mynd tech couldn't figure out. They had to send someone else to find that problem. Ive reached out several times, and really nothing is said, nothing is communicated. Looking in the app tells me nothing. First few times they closed the maintenance request out. This time, the request has been open since October. No one communicates anything. Any time they have sent someone, nothing is done. Its as if its only to placate the situation. Back in October they sent their maintenance, who was a no call no show for the first appointment. I had to reach out again to get them to send someone out, and again, they had to talk to their boss. Nothing came of that. So I had to again reach out to several communication pathways (email, text, call) and they decided last week (3 week of November) to send a Mynd tech, whom did nothing but say if the smell comes back to open another reqest. Seriously? The worst ever experience with this place. Weve been here since 2017, and never had we had so many problems living here. And yes, Ive been reaching out with no resolution. UPDATE: its January 5th now. The smell seems to have been resolved. New problem. Waiting on the floor to be retiled. It's taking more than one appointment 🙄. Let's see how long this takes. They came to just look at it on the 28th of December 2025. Update 01/17/26: the floors that were torn up at the neighbors has been taken care of. I'm still waiting for mine to be done. January 22nd: Still nothing. February 1, nothing. Update: February 12. Still not repaired. I was told that we were waiting on the owner to approve this mishap. Its absolutely deplorable that this has been and still is going on for almost our entire lease. We pay on time and are good tenants. Update: As of February 26, 2026, the floors are finally done. And might I say they did a way. Better job that whoever "remodeled/installed" the prior flooring.

The current management company (Mynd Management) is HORRIBLE. We moved into an "updated" apartment that was not cleaned. We found loose screws in the carpet, coating on the showers that was peeling, exposed drywall, missing trim, a bathtub spigot that was fixed WITH WOOD and painted, stained carpets, and more. Our service requests were frequently dropped after the initial appointment. When they did follow through, the work was so poorly done we had to submit more service requests, which they ignored. When we moved out we were charged for items that we shouldn't have been. The move-out pamphlet details that common wear and tear will not be charged for, and that the apartment needs to be as clean as it was upon move-in, but WE WERE CHARGED ANYWAY. We were charged for so many things that we shouldn't have been. $100 to clean the inside of a cabinet?? $135 for one broken blind? And this was after sending pictures and following their move-out process to the letter. It's also frustrating that the only point of contact is in CA. There is no one on-site that you can talk to except for the maintenance guy, but he doesn't have anything to do with the actual management. Also, they are starting to charge WAY more than the apartments are worth! Be aware that the apartment you see in person might not be the apartment they assign you. That happened to us. So disappointing, so frustrating. Save yourself some stress and find a different apartment complex.

Good luck on getting their so called Property Manager to ever answer your calls or address any issues. I have walked to her office over 20 times, there is ALWAYS A SIGN ON THE DOOR,that she will be back and she's never there. I have not seen this person since moving in. I always have to call the MYND provider who are in CALIFORNIA. The property manager is completely invisible and incompetent. They love to do patch work when fixing things and are ONLY available, during hours you have to work so if your apartment isn't up to living standard when you view this place, save yourself the hassle and move else where.

Everything is taken care of here on the basis of no humans, I moved in and signed a year lease when they full well knew they had a huge plumbing project that would cause all tenants to move out temporarily, and being a single female who used movers was expected to move all my appliances etc back in place. Their system for maintenance or anything or the sort is beyond flawed. You will need to take off of work several days at a time for simple requests as they will send someone to defend why you don’t need services until you actually get your plumber, or HVAC technician. My entire hvac system was broken but I fought for months in the summer to have it fixed. Sewer back up, the overwhelming smell of cat urine which they never fixed because I had literally holes in my unit connecting to the next one to me. I could see the other units bedroom where they kept a cat and apparently no litter box. At this point my requests about the smells I was advised especially with the marijuana that police had to be involved. Which is untrue and ridiculous. This property is also partial section 8, so while I paid full price for my residence I was surrounded by people who didn’t. Just so you know ahead of time so you have options I didn’t have. There are many empty units for a reason. This place will continue to go downhill quickly. The balcony’s are cool, and the space is large but being the two stories you will never have heat or air on the upstairs, where all the bedrooms are. Oh and I had to put up multiple signs because on a daily basis my mailbox was being gone through by my neighbors. 10/10 would never recommend. Oh they also charged me $400 for “landscaping” on an empty yard with no grass….. the yard is like 8x10. The size of a bedroom.

HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE! DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE! I would rate it half a star if I could. The AC and Heater does not work upstairs in summer it gets up to the 90s and in the winter it’ll get down to the 50s INSIDE! Then they tell you to buy you own portable AC and they will reimburse partial of the total cost! They only fixed half of maintenance issues only if it would affect the property value. I don’t even live there anymore and they’re trying to charge me for utilities that come with staying there. The annual lease renewal inspectors don’t even like the management and warn renters of the things they try to charge renters that aren’t the renters fault. I have not received my deposit back and most likely not going to. I’m sure they will find something to charge me for. $1,600 with utilities to live there yeah never again and I don’t recommend anyone else to live there. SCAM go find a home that is worth the price! TRUST ME!
