Brickstone Villas Apartments

I’ve lived at Brickstone Villas for two years and I have only good things to say about my experience here. The property is well maintained and any and all maintenance issues (which there have been very, very few of) have been handled promptly. The neighbors are nice/respectful and the community is quiet, which has been extremely beneficial to me as a student. The unit (I have the Stallion floorplan) is spacious and comfortable, which I really appreciate. Plus, there are activities in the office and in the community that have been really fun! Honestly, I would say that the management team has been the best part of my experience here. From the ladies that work in the office to the maintenance team, everyone is such a delight to be around and their energy has been positive and kind. My dog gets so excited when she sees them, and I know she’ll miss them (and the treats they give her, lol) when we leave! Genuinely, this has been the best apartment I’ve ever lived in. If I didn’t have to relocate to another city for school, I would definitely be renewing my lease here. Would 100% recommend! :)

My wife and I truly enjoyed living at Brickstone Apartments. The community is quiet, peaceful, and always felt like a comfortable place to come home to. One of the biggest highlights of living here was the staff. Misty and Soriah are absolutely wonderful. They are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely care about the residents. Every time you walk into the office they remember your name and greet you like they’ve known you forever, which makes a big difference. That level of personal connection is rare and really speaks to the kind of community they’re building. We only moved because we wanted an apartment with more storage space and preferred a downstairs unit, but our experience here was very positive. Another fun part of living here was the community cat, Georgie. He would often wander over to our apartment crying for food, and I loved taking care of him when he visited. He definitely became a little neighborhood celebrity in our eyes. The property has also been making improvements. They recently painted the exterior, and the new look feels much more modern and refreshed. It’s nice to see the community continuing to grow and improve. Overall, Brickstone is a great place to live with a quiet neighborhood and a team that truly cares about the residents. I’m excited to see the continued improvements and success for the property in the future.

The Brickstone VIlla maintenance team is amazing. They are readily available to troubleshoot any issues and are extremely responsive to concerns and are courtesy and professional when addressing and repairing the issue. Zack is a rock star. Within a matter of a couple days he repaired an AC issue which I thought would take a couple of weeks to complete. He displays a positive and very approachable attitude. Greatly appreciated. Was told in 2025 the requirements to qualify to lease and then was told the same thing in person by property manager Elizabeth in 2026. Paid the $60 application fee. Then I was contacted days later that I needed to submit exact sources of income in addition to bank statements for past 3 months, which had 3 times the rent. Had enough money in savings to pay rent in full for a year lease. No background check or employment verification was done. I was not refunded my $60 application fee after requesting it. I spoke with another apt manager in Lubbock and she said she would’ve refunded the $60 since no verification work was done. So they lost a good tenant with many years of perfect apt rental history with no late payments or lease violations. All my previous landlords told me I was an excellent tenant and they would give me a good recommendation. Brickstone Villas loss! The interior is not as nice as online pics. Much smaller apts in person. Carpet in bedroom and living room is high and shaggy. Cobwebs in ceiling fans. Dirty inside apts. I was not impressed! Icing on the cake was I drove through the complex at night and there were many pole lights out and door lights not on or broken. It was a very dark complex! Also, NO parking spots open by my future apt, ZERO! Very limited parking spots at night by 2nd story buildings. Didn’t feel safe coming home after dark at this not well lit complex. Gym is lackluster with only one treadmill that’s broken and in place a cheap walking pad. Staff pretends to be friendly and nice to get you in, but Misty and Elizabeth are not friendly when a problem arises. The leasing agent Soraya was very nice and friendly, but didn’t know the answers to any of my questions. Staff was not honest and forthcoming. They take lunch breaks that last hours so it’s difficult to reach them in the office. Highly NOT recommended to move here!

These guys are great. They treat everyone with respect. I have never had any questions not answered and very professional. It’s like a family environment here.
