Aurora Flats

Living at Aurora Flats has been a great experience. It’s close enough to campus to be convenient, but far enough away from the chaos, which makes it a perfect location. The amenities are well maintained, the apartments are comfortable, and the pricing is very reasonable for what you get. Ashley in the office is always friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about residents, and Chris on the maintenance team is awesome—responsive, knowledgeable, and quick to help. I also really appreciate seeing weekend security on site and knowing there’s an anonymous hotline to call if there’s ever a noise issue.

this place is insanely mid for what i was paying. the floors are super uneven and dont align with the baseboard. be ready for there to be a new maintenance guy every other month and for them to know how to do nothing !!! they are constantly shutting the water off multiple times a week and the office is NEVER OPEN!!! even during office hours the property manager will lock the door to “take calls” or to “have meetings” for hours at a time. the washer/dryer units they use aren’t clean and don’t work half of the time either. there are MANY other places in lubbock where you can get more bang for your buck. i’d honestly take your money elsewhere!!!!

I visited this property during normal business hours to look around. When I arrived, the staff immediately questioned me in a way that made me uncomfortable, even after I explained I was just touring and a guest of a resident. After viewing the space, I sat briefly in the lobby to respond to emails something that is normally acceptable in any leasing office. Despite being well within their posted hours (they are open until 5 PM and it was 2:30 PM), the staff member abruptly told me she “had a meeting” and asked me to leave. I was the only person asked to leave, and the interaction felt discriminatory and unwelcoming. This experience was unprofessional, disrespectful, and left me feeling targeted rather than treated like a guest. I would caution others to be aware of how management treats visitors.

Great experience!! Beautiful property and the staff were so helpful, they took their time to answer all my questions and helped me find an apartment that works for my budget! They have amazing prices for very high quality apartments!
