Windsor at West University apartments

I lived at Windsor at West University for two years. While the apartment initially seemed great, my experience significantly declined over time and ultimately forced me to move out early for my sanity and safety during bar exam preparation. The building is poorly constructed with little insulation, resulting in constant noise from both upstairs and side neighbors. I could hear everyday activities, which severely disrupted my sleep. Despite repeated complaints, the issue was never resolved. The property may look “luxury,” but the construction quality does not match that label. Security is a major concern. Non-residents frequently accessed the building, used amenities, and loitered in common areas. There were multiple disturbing incidents, including harassment of women. I would not recommend this property to single women or families. Parking is also poorly enforced—guest parking rules are ignored, often forcing residents to park several floors away. On the positive side, the location is excellent, the staff and maintenance (especially Jo’el) are responsive, and the units are spacious. Amenities are attractive but were often difficult to enjoy due to theft and security issues. Overall, while there are some positives, the ongoing noise, safety concerns, and lack of enforcement made this an unfortunate experience. I would advise prospective renters to proceed with caution.

Huge shoutout to the maintenance team—especially Christian! We always feel we’re in good hands because he is so attentive, caring, and professional. We had an AC thermostat issue today, and he came by promptly and resolved it right away. We’re so grateful to live in a wonderful community with people who are truly dedicated to taking care of residents. Joel and Adrianna in the leasing office are also incredibly helpful!

We have been living in this complex for several years, so this review is based on long-term experience and day-to-day living here. Cons: Over time, there have been more and more mandatory additional charges introduced without discussion or consent from residents. When we first moved in, parking was free — it is now paid. This year, residents were also required to pay for internet service ($65 per month), with no option to choose a provider and without residents’ approval. This feels like growing pressure from management rather than a resident-focused approach. There are also ongoing cleanliness and safety concerns. The carpet in the common areas appears to have never been properly cleaned, and overall cleaning and safety standards need improvement. Pros: The complex does have strong positive sides. The neighbors are great, the location is convenient, and amenities such as the barbecue area, gym, nearby shops, and the pool make daily life more comfortable. The main advantage of this complex is the maintenance team. They are truly outstanding. Repair-related issues are usually handled the same day or within a few days. The team is professional, friendly, and reliable. I would especially like to recognize Christian — Christian, you are the best. When I know Christian is assigned, I am confident that he will do everything possible to help and find the best solution. His service, attitude, and problem-solving skills are exceptional. Overall, this place has potential, but increasing fees and unresolved cleaning and safety issues significantly impact the overall experience.

I moved here on the 7th to a 1 bedroom apartment on the fifth floor overlooking the pool. So only couple of weeks in. So far it has been very good. Adrianna & Jo'el are very helpful & kind. Property in gorgeous with well maintained common areas that include pool, gym, office area, conference room, pool table area, media/theater, and several sitting areas. It is very quiet and I don't hear noice from outside or neighbor. The tenants that I have run into so far are well mannered and kind.

Two masked suspects were snooping around the garage at 2am. 🤮 They even hid behind a wall while a young woman was walking home—absolutely sickening. Sharing videos for anyone who needs footage for police or insurance reports.
