I have lived at the Verdir for 2 years and have had the best experience. From the awesome customer service and empathy given by management, Chris, and the monthly events being held for residents...The Verdir was a dream to live in. Anything that needed to be fixed the staff was one call or email away. I called them my fairy god parents because they came quick to the rescue. I hate to leave because of work out of town but once my assignment is up I'll be back! Great location, management, service and eventful place to live!

I had a great experience working with Verdir at Hermann Park to find my dream apartment home while transitioning to Houston from Louisiana. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and responsive throughout the entire process. Christopher and his team listened to my needs, preferences, and showed me a variety of options that matched my criteria. I would highly recommend Verdir at Hermann Park to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy property for an apartment or home. Thank you for making my relocation journey a smooth, easy and enjoyable one.

In a quest to look for a centralized location to secure in the 288/610/59/45 corridor, I began searching for apartments around the Hermann Park area. My visit to the Verdot at Hermann Park was nothing short of amazing! From the pleasant leasing agent to the hilariously funny Manager Chris…I was already sold! Then they showed me spacious unit that has the most spectacular view of the park and medical center…I am in LOVE! I saw other not so favorable views, but that had to be a long time ago because I’m a stickler for the best and this is it!!!

I’ve been living here for a little while now and I can honestly say this is one of the best properties I’ve ever stayed at. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and any time I need something they respond right away. Christopher, the property manager, is absolutely amazing he truly cares about the residents and always makes sure everything is running smoothly. On top of that, the security here is top notch. I’ve felt completely safe since moving in and it gives me real peace of mind. Highly recommend this place!

Please, do not choose to live here. I have lived here for 2 years, and this complex has major concerns regarding safety, cleanliness, insulation, pipes, and insects. - When I moved in, my apartment was filthy. There was grease on the walls and cabinets from previous tenants that had not been cleaned. They assured me that someone cleaned my apartment, but I highly doubt it since no one noticed something so obvious. The windows and blinds were filthy (see pictures) when I moved in. - Water comes in through the walls, the windows, and the ceiling. This is a generalized problem in this building. The former leasing agent told me that over half the units suffer from this problem. I am talking about a large volume of water, as you can see in my video, that leaks onto your carpet and furniture. - Bugs are everywhere. I kept all my food stored and sealed, and I still got fruit flies and sugar ants that came through the cracks and pipes. There is nothing more uncomfortable that feeling dirty in your own home, and that is what I have experienced. Management suggested I take care of the bugs myself by placing traps. - The hallways have not been cleaned in probably years, the gym is disgusting, and the staircase smell is unbearable. The trash chute is so disgusting that people leave their trash outside of it, which makes the hallways reek. The trash chute also has a hole at the bottom level, and trash leaks to the parking lot. I have found egg shells, pet feces, and even a mouse fetus by the stairs. - Safety features are non-existent. No cameras in the hallways, parking lot, or package room. Cars are broken into, tires are stolen, a whole vehicle was stolen a few months ago, bikes are stolen, etc. I did not feel safe in this parking lot. - The area is sketchy. I would never feel comfortable walking alone at night. The apartment doors are no thicker than a regular bedroom door, and the locks do not feel very sturdy. Management gave all the residents a code when the keypad was down that anyone could use or share with non-residents, which I thought was unsafe. - Management (former or current) is not accommodating. Living here has caused me so much stress and tears, and I was never compensated or let off the hook to move out without paying a 200% early termination fee. - Washer and dryer are bad quality, they destroyed multiple items of clothing and the drier takes 120 minutes to dry a medium load. Overall, my issues were communicated to management and often ignored or resolved poorly. Issues are commonly fixed with either paint or caulk (which, safe to say, did not fix my water leaks, mold in the pantry, or grease on every surface of my apartment) in a very unprofessional way. The new management will disregard any concern under the excuse that they are new to the building, and thus, it is not their fault. Just because you are new does not mean that I don't deserve my concerns about leaks, trash, bugs, and safety to be validated, compensated, and fixed.
