We’ve lived at The Susanne for a little over a year, and we just re‑signed our lease because we truly couldn’t be happier here. We started on the 3rd floor and recently moved up to the 8th, and the experience has been great in both apartments.
Daphne is an incredible manager — genuinely friendly, attentive, and always willing to go out of her way to help. Ashley is also wonderful, and the maintenance team (especially Jorge) is consistently fast, kind, and thorough. The people here really set the tone for the whole community.
The building itself is quiet, peaceful, and they’ve been adding new features and hosting fun little pop‑ups with local businesses. Being right across from H‑E‑B is a huge perk — everyone here walks over, so you start recognizing your neighbors quickly. Security is solid too; there are cameras everywhere and the property feels well cared for.
It may not be the newest building in the area, but the management, maintenance, and neighbors more than make up for that. If I had to name a “con,” the only thing I can think of is wishing we had an Amazon locker room, because the private Amazon delivery service sometimes drops packages at odd hours when the office is closed. That’s more of an Amazon issue than a property issue, though.
Overall, we love living here and plan to stay.

I lived here for two and a half years and truly enjoyed my time. Safety was a top priority for me, and I felt completely secure—no break-ins and my car was always safe. The management team is very responsible and professional, making the experience stress-free. I lived on the 7th floor, and the view was absolutely amazing every day! The neighbors are friendly, and the gym and pool are very well-maintained. Plus, it’s a very walkable and convenient neighborhood with everything you need nearby. Highly recommend!

I lived at the Susanne for 3 years. It was my first apartment in Houston. I was always happy to interact with the staff in the morning. It was a friendly community and lots of great amenities. HEB is across the street with made it very convenient for me as well other shopping locations were in proximity. My apartment was spacious and cozy. Requests were handled promptly and without issue. I enjoyed my time living there.

I'm approaching my one year anniversary of living at The Susanne, and I am so glad I moved here! I love the location across the street from HEB and in walking distance or a short drive of many great restaurants and museums. The staff are all incredibly friendly and responsive, and the building has great facilities and is always clean. I also feel very secure here. I would recommend The Susanne to anyone!

The location is perfect for anyone who does not like to drive a lot for their daily chores. There are supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and museums by walking distance. The apartments are nice and the staff are fairly punctual and very helpful. The well maintained amenities within the building are a nice to have too.
If you work at any of the major business centers in the city, this is well located for you.
Overall, it's a good place to live.
