Recently moved out and I’m glad to be completely done with this apartment complex. I cannot explain how filthy this apartment complex is EVERYWHERE. From the amenities to the garages to the awful odor. If ever you guys need to get a hold of a member of the team, forget it about. They never answer the phone if needed any assistance you get transferred to someone offsite even during business hours, I’ve called multiple times and even went to the extent to walk downstairs to find out no one is doing anything and the phones are either off or they just don’t care to answer. I’ve hosted an event and was told as long as we don’t reach a certain amount of people and keep the place organized we would be charged the $750 non-refundable deposit, cool. I’ve confirmed with 2 team members there and which to my surprise I get an email from Amanda charging me $750 for a Halloween party. Yes, we might’ve stayed a little longer then anticipated, but it baffles me how the very next day.the fire alarm were ringing constantly all night because another resident decided to start smoking and staying up just as late with a bunch of people that were probably more then allowed. The garages and elevators are always going out and inoperable. Which allows non residents to enter the garages and I even had a incident with a non resident smoking weed in the garage in his car with no license plate just hanging out. Overall, I’m very disappointed in the fallout of this apartment complex, it has a great potential and location and in the smack of everything and location to get to downtown and the freeway is not bad at all.

A welcoming community in a prime location. From the very beginning, we received excellent support navigating the electronic paperwork, and prompt guidance when necessary. Moving in felt like entering a brand-new apartment—the unit was clearly well prepared, and some minor issues were quickly addressed. Management is attentive and genuinely caring (Melissa truly stands out), and the staff is consistently friendly and effective. Amenities are a real plus: a great gym, pool and jacuzzi, multiple outdoor grilling stations, and community activities such as yoga and social events, to mention a few. The location is hard to beat—just two blocks from Buffalo Bayou’s linear park and within a short walk of numerous restaurants, grocery stores, shops, an art cinema, and even a real bookstore. A slightly larger lap pool and an induction cooktop would be nice to have, but overall this resulted in an excellent choice for us.

I recently moved in on January 5th and absolutely love this apartment. From the very beginning, Melissa was incredible. On move-in day, I arrived straight from the airport with four suitcases, and she didn’t hesitate to push the cart all the way to my apartment—heels and all. Such a small gesture, but it meant so much. Truly so kind and thoughtful. I chose a studio since it’s just me and my pup, and it’s absolutely perfect. The space is ideal, comfortable, and exactly what I was looking for. The location is a 10/10—everything is within walking distance: grocery stores, gyms, restaurants, and more. I couldn’t be happier with my decision and am so glad I chose this apartment.

I had the chance to take a self-guided tour, and Sterling has a lot to offer, located just minutes from downtown. If you want to have access to restaurants within walking distance, resort-style amenities, and a fair rate, then Sterling is a good option. The downside for me is the lack of multiple elevators in the complex, the shared parking garage with people shopping and dining in the area, and the layout not being dog-friendly enough.
