The Retreat at Baybrook

I moved in a couple months ago and I love it here, AJ and Alex have been very helpful from the start. I recently had to have my AC motor replaced and the portable AC that maintenance installed worked amazing. They were back just two days later to install the new motor ( it was a Saturday night when I called btw) 👍

A huge part of why I stay is the people who manage this community — and AJ Cabrera is at the top of that list. AJ is the kind of staff member every apartment community wishes they had. He’s responsive, professional, and genuinely cares about the residents. Whether it’s a maintenance concern, a question about my lease, or just checking in, AJ handles everything with a great attitude and actually follows through. That’s rarer than it should be. After six years I’ve seen staff come and go, and AJ stands out above them all. If you’re considering The Reserve at Baybrook, know that you’ll be in good hands — especially with AJ on the team.

I wanted to leave a review to recognize AJ from the leasing office, because he made the entire process such a positive experience. He was welcoming, energetic, and incredibly knowledgeable, not only about the property but the surrounding area as well. He took his time during our tour, answered all of our questions thoroughly, and addressed any concerns right away. He was patient throughout the entire process and genuinely thoughtful in helping us find the right fit, which made it clear that he cared about our experience rather than just trying to place us in any available unit. AJ’s attention to detail also stood out to us. That level of care gave us confidence that the property is well managed and that resident concerns would actually be taken seriously. Even thoughtful choices, like opting for more aesthetically pleasing trash receptacles instead of the standard ones, showed how much pride he takes in the community. Even after moving in, AJ has remained responsive and available whenever we have questions. His professionalism, genuine care, and welcoming personality made the entire leasing experience smooth and genuinely enjoyable, and we’re grateful for everything he did to make the process feel so easy.
