Living at the Plaza at River Oaks has been a good experience for my family and I, so far. I am someone who needs a place with character and our current home provides that. The location is perfect as it is situated within walking distance of dining and shopping in the River Oaks area. The office and maintenance staff have been so nice and welcoming. Additionally, issues and maintenance requests are addressed in a timely manner. I am hoping to call this home for a while.

I tried to tour this place twice after making multiple appointments and once I would be confirmed and would make it to the building none would pick up the phone, not sure if they have a leasing office, the phone machine outside doesn’t work…

Convenient location for getting to the bayou and shops nearby. It’s 10 minutes to downtown, and a few minutes from memorial. I had my bike stolen (and I know of others who have had that issue), the gate is broken once a quarter, and management isn’t always responsive. Security could be improved as there are vagrants often hanging around the bus stops and nearby parks. The maintenance crew deserves a raise because they are reliable, quick, and friendly. Updated appliances are nice, but you pay for the location at this complex.

I submitted an online inquiry 3 months ago, because I wanted to tour their upcoming units. No response. Didn't assume the worst and wasn't in a rush, but naturally, I tried reaching an individual by phone (a few times more recently). No one answers. Strange way of doing business, but it says a lot.

Lovely, small, quiet community.🏡Safe and convenient, I really enjoyed living here. The only downside is that there is no pool 🏊🏼♀️ or 🏋️♀️ gym onsite. The landscaping 🌴🌿🌴🌳🪴is just darling and there’s a fountain⛲️ within the center of the apartment units (not townhomes), which provides super relaxing ambience. You can walk to just about everything safely (Kroger, gyms, Starbucks, Rudyard’s, Cafe Ginger, Tjmaxx, Marshall’s, HomeGoods, Sally’s, Dollar Tree, Panera Bread, urgent care, Pepper Twins, Earthcraft Juicery, need I go on? ....and they just put in a target ~1 mile from here). There’s also a fancy neighborhood nearby that’s really peaceful to walk through. Another thing that really impressed me about living here is how many windows my one bedroom unit had. Four windows!! 🪟☀️🪟 Two on each side! 🪟☀️🪟Absolutely lovely. Amazon📦can find you easily and the community requires a gate code/remote to get in, so it’s pretty secure. Food 🌮 🍜 🍕 delivery guys can get a little mixed up but it’s worth it since this is such a small/cozy community. It’s hard to spot! 😂 The property manager, Laurie,🙋♀️is super nice and easy to work with. What few maintenance issues I had were resolved quickly and easily. The maintenance guy👨🔧Luis is also really nice.
