I used to be happy living here, the maintenance team are great and proactive. However, since last October, a severe roach infestation has completely taken over the complex. Despite the front office diligently sending pest control, nothing has worked. I even paid out of pocket to hire a private specialist, but they confirmed the infestation is systemic and beyond control. The living conditions are completely unsanitary. Roaches are inside our refrigerator and freezer. We have to disinfect every single kitchen utensil before use, and all food and kitchenware must be sealed in airtight containers just to be safe. It is a living nightmare: they crawl on us while we sleep, completely take over the kitchen and bathroom walls, floors, and ceilings at night, and fall into our food while we are cooking or eating. They have even destroyed my brand-new printer. Management recently scheduled a "special treatment" that required my family to completely empty the kitchen and bathrooms, pack up all our belongings, and move all our furniture 2 feet away from the wall and displace our family and pets for hours. Because this was scheduled on my busiest work day, it caused an immediate loss of $300 in business revenue, on top of extreme stress for my family. We cannot live like this anymore. I am writing this in hopes that ownership reads it and does the right thing: let us break our lease without penalty so we can move somewhere safe and clean immediately.
