Southwood Apartments

I haven't had many issues since moving back here a lil over a year ago I must say that mgmt has been pretty quick to handle any issues that I've had to come up regarding my unit; the only thing I don't t understand is how mgmt just up & suddenly left leaving us residents without anybody in the role of office mgmt or maintenance. I def sure miss having (Ms Tee & Mr Joe, maint. man) around as our Apt mgr.& Maint. guy here in our small tight knit community. I'm hoping they consider coming back one day bc they are definitely missed.

Absolutely not. Disgusting mold, old utilities, favoritism and discrimination by KIM. CONSTANT THREATS of eviction for pet deposit already given. She writes violations for me but not for neighbors for having two fish and one cat. Cat is authorized. FISH WERE APPROVED BY DAVID IN REGIONAL. Violations for feeding animals outdoors but yet everyone has a birdfeeder. Dont move here you will regret it. Flooded apartments washer and dryers on facility dont work and its almost $2 to wash and $1.25 to dry ONE LOAD. IT TAKES YOUR MONEY. Theres old carpet that has never been replaced when all other apartments have vinal floors. Very discriminating management. Charges have been filed.

I loved living in Southwood Apt. The manager Kimberly and the Maintance man Enrique are the best. Kim is very kind and at the same time very professional as a manager. She will let you know if something is not right but at the same time she never makes you feel less because we live in an apartment that is based on your income. She always speaks when she sees you. I had to move to take care of my Sister after a bad accident and I truly miss Kimberly, my neighbors throughout the complex, and for Enrique he is truly the best maintenance I have ever had. He is very trustworthy. If I knew I couldn't be home for something all I had to do was tell him I would be gone but for him to go on in. I knew I could trust him. I also never had any problems that needed attention that wasn't took care of. When I called him or put in a work order it got attention immediately. I will and have told several family and friends about Southwood and I know there has been some that has pit in an application. When my sister gets to where she can take care of herself I will definitely put my application in again and hopefully move back in. Leasing agent Amber, is very rude, unprofessional, has no customer service skills what so ever. And should not be doing customer applications, this company should get someone who doesn’t make Derogatory comments about their future customers.
