Two weeks post move in review: Overall, the property is beautiful. The units are gorgeous, the bathrooms are spacious, and the kitchens have plenty of cabinet space, which was a huge plus for me. The tall windows make the apartments feel very open and bright, and depending on your unit and floor plan, the views can be amazing. One thing to keep in mind is that location within the building does matter when it comes to noise levels, so I would recommend being mindful of that when choosing a unit. Personally, my unit has been very quiet — I rarely hear neighbors or hallway traffic, which has been a major positive. Storage space is limited, especially closet space, so if you need a lot of storage you may want to consider renting additional storage onsite. Parking has been reasonable in my experience, and I can usually find a spot between the second and fourth floors at most times of the day. I also appreciate the small onsite convenience shop with snacks, drinks, and toiletries — it’s incredibly convenient. I was told it’s locally owned, which I think is a nice touch. The common areas throughout the property are very well maintained, and I especially enjoy the lounge spaces around the building. The rooftop pool is nice as well. I’ve seen more luxurious pools elsewhere, but for a rooftop setup, it’s still a great amenity. One of my favorite parts of living here has been the 24-hour concierge service. There is always someone available to help, and everyone I’ve interacted with has been friendly and accommodating. My only concern so far has involved a discrepancy with the rent and amenity fees during move-in. I initially addressed the issue via email but did not receive a response before my move-in date. Because I did not want to lose the unit, I signed the lease with the understanding and hope that the matter could still be reviewed afterward. When I later brought the issue to management’s attention, I was informed that because the lease had already been signed, there was little that could be done. Unfortunately, this resulted in me paying significantly more in amenity fees than I originally expected. I was hoping for a bit more flexibility or understanding as a new tenant, and I still hope the situation may ultimately be a misunderstanding that can be resolved. Despite that issue, I am overall pleased with the property and plan to complete my lease term here.

Car break ins every day

I watched the 2nd tower get built as a teen and always told myself, that going to live there one day. I was finally able to do so 3 years ago now. I love the my space, the view, all the workers, and my neighbors are all pretty cool and unbothered. No real complaints or annoying issues. But when I do bring something up, its quickly addressed & dealt with. I also really enjoyed{y the thoughtfulness of the Staff & Greystar for hosting monthly themed event where I always get to meet new friends and neighbors. People I can ask for a cup of sugar from or life advice from. I always look forward to those events cause it keep bring the community together. Some key points most people wouldn't know. - Metro Station is literally the next street over. - Two blocks away the Metro 102 is the route that goes to IAH. Save yourself $40+ Uber/Lift fare. - since the building is right next to metro rail in times of nature disaster power to tho streets are priorities 1st. So it you'll probably never lose power again, there's 3 power stations near by as well. Someone correct me if im wrong, but I believe the building has huge backup generators as well. For me power reliability and flooding are huge breaking points.

I’ve lived in the Downtown/Midtown area for almost 5 years and never had an issue with my car being broken into until I moved here. This is the second time this has happened within 6 months of living here and management doesn’t do anything about it. I don’t keep anything of value in my car so there’s not even a reason to try to break into it. Also - the garage gate will be broken for weeks on end and management takes their sweet time to fix it. The apartments themselves are nice and a low price, but they’re absolutely not worth it for the inconveniences you deal with here.

It was really nice to go to my first SODO rooftop community event. I met some residents and it was a good vibe!! We even walked to a movie night downtown..
