DO NOT MOVE HERE! Waste of time and money! Before i start! They never answer ur emails! U have to take a day off to go to the office in person to maybe fix the issues!... I uploaded my last review for this apartment complex and it was a 4 star from me! But, i don't know if the new management or something else, EVERYTHING IS AWFUL in here! nobody cares if u don't have AC or heater! Literally nobody! Nobody responsible and answer ur call for ur issues! For 4 days i didn't have the hot water during the Houston cold and for 3 days i didn't have the AC in Houston summer with 95 degree!! And nobody responded or care! And i had to find the maintenance guy Marvin to fix it for me! Thanks to him!... There's no emergency contact or response from anyone here! DO NOT MOVE HERE!... They're just relax enjoying their coffee. I've been here since 2020, but since changing the new management, things get worse! I wish i didn't renew my lease! Plus they did not pay my deposit back!

I’ve toured a lot of apartments over the years, and to be honest, you can usually tell within the first few minutes what kind of experience you’d have living there. Providence Uptown was one of the rare times I walked away genuinely impressed. The property is beautiful, clean, and feels like an actual community — not just another complex. But what really stood out was the tour itself. The property manager (I truly hate that I forgot her name!) was incredible. We connected on a real level, talking about more than just floor plans — life, resilience, and even our shared experience with hyperthyroidism. It didn’t feel like a sales pitch; it felt like a real conversation with someone who cares about the people who live here. That meant a lot to me because where you live should feel comfortable and welcoming, not just transactional. After walking the property and seeing the layout, I could honestly picture building a routine and calling this place home. Providence Uptown left a lasting impression, and I would be proud to be part of this community. If the day-to-day living experience matches the professionalism and warmth I felt during my visit, this is truly a special place. Jeremiah Nicolas

if I could leave 0 stars, I definitely would. and i’m happy to not have moved in. the entire process was janky and unprofessional. I was set to move in and on my day of move in, they waited until the last minute to say I was suddenly “declined “ after getting more than 4 approval emails. All information was given and provided upon submitting the application. what if I had been on the brink of homelessness? They never answer the phone, the property stinks when you tour and they leave the future resident to do their jobs for them. I submitted documents five times and they still said they didn’t receive it. for employment verification they would not accept anything bc “the company doesn’t want to pay for employment verification. “ they had me calling prior complexes to gather information for them instead of handling what they were supposed to. and when they did, it was under the wrong name!!! to pay almost $500 dollars to submit an application just for them to lollygag and lead people on is completely unacceptable. They claim to be busy but according to current residents there isn’t much being done. I’ve done research into the property management as well, and it seems every property they touch becomes less than and labeled as “hooded out” which is a problem in itself. the property and property management company is way to sketch. At first Yltiza was very seeet during the tour, yet she had been playing phone tag with me all day and then at 3-4 pm on my day of move in she calls to decline me and said “I knew coming in this morning your application was denied” so why would you waste my time and money just to be on the phone with me? weird. very very weird. Lisa was kind but she had no idea what was going on , she “didn’t even know” the approval emails were sent from her email and computer. if this is how they are during the application process , I can’t imagine what they’re like as a resident. I will update on whether or not I receive a “refund” for my application.

I’ve had a really great experience living here overall. The property is always clean, well-kept, and management is responsive when anything comes up. But I especially want to give a huge shoutout to Marvin from maintenance — he is absolutely amazing! Marvin is always professional, friendly, and gets things fixed quickly and done right the first time. It really makes a difference knowing there’s someone reliable you can count on. He truly goes above and beyond, and employees like him are a big reason I enjoy living here. Highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a comfortable place with great staff! My little boy and I love it here.

Think twice before moving here. I’ve lived in this apartment complex for about 5 years, and I can honestly say it’s been a rollercoaster and not in a good way. While the neighbors are nice and the community itself seems calm on the surface, don’t let that fool you. My car has been broken into twice, and I’ve had tires stolen right off the vehicle. The worst part? The security cameras in the parking lot don’t even work. Management knows this and still hasn’t fixed it. The gate is always wide open, day and night anyone can just walk or drive in. It’s basically an open invitation for crime. I’ve experienced things here that no one should have to go through in their own home. If safety and peace of mind matter to you, this is NOT the place to live. Management is careless, security is nonexistent, and residents are left to fend for themselves.
