Post Oak at Woodway

Ive been living here for about 6 months now and honestly, it’s been a great experience. The community is well kept, amenities are always clean, and everything runs smoothly. Esme is always responsive and genuinely cares about residents. It makes a big difference having someone like that on the team. Overall, really happy to call this place home.

I have lived here for 3 months now and I am very pleased. The location is perfect if you like to walk to the park/arboretum, it is close to HEB and Wholefoods, and is an overall great central spot. There is a big senior citizen community here which I like because my neighbors are quiet. Maintenance and management are nice and responsive.

First, let’s not forget the recent murder that happened here. (Security is not there for protection, it’s because there’s literally one entry and one exit to the entire property and multiple car accidents occur). The worst regular issue is that it is an extremely old property but the biggest issue is the “Karen” types and senior citizens living here—who just can’t mind their business and go about their own lives. You’ll see them loitering in common areas and being generally rude, unstable/abnormal. They’re not the friendly elderly type, no, they’re the type to file complaints, try to stop you especially if you’re a minority/person of color, and harass—at one point I had a “karen” neighbor try to literally break into my unit at 11pm the 1st time we met the 3-4th day I moved in over an alleged trash policy. She was so unstable she reached into my trash bin and flung garbage down the hall, waited at her door till I came out to clean it up, only to try to yell at me again. There were multiple incidents. Everyone knows who these people are. The Property cited her for her violation but then shrugged and said I should’ve called the police. The Property chooses to keep them because they’re the only ones who stay long term. It’s also right by the highway so we constantly get highway noise at all hours. The walls are paper thin. I literally can hear quiet conversations from the neighbors, footsteps, when they flush toilets, turn on water, etc. The power goes out any time it rains (not even just for big storms only). The dog park also attracts an abnormal amount of conflicts between residents that I never had anywhere else, where some residents make up rules that the property continues to tell them aren’t valid but residents try to harass you anyway. Gates, grills, A/C in the gym, etc. are always broken down. Gym equipment is literally rusty. Parking within the garage is very narrow, every guest / car I’ve ever brought has left with a scratch or dent. Only 1 spot per bedroom - not per person. Not even if you offer to pay.
