I loved my apartment! Especially the beautiful island and high ceilings! The amenities are great and maintenance team is awesome! We recently got a new manager and she's taking care of business. Had a few issues and she personally reached out and made sure everything was taken care of. Since the change, the hallways have been painted, we have new security, policies are being enforced and more resident events. If I didn't have to move for work, I would've definitely stayed.

Update: 11/6/2025 As of today, the apartment still has not been properly cleaned. I’ve decided I don’t want the cleaners back in my unit and will be taking care of it myself. It’s really disappointing to still be dealing with this after bringing it up immediately after move-in. I want to share my recent experience with District 28, because it’s been extremely disappointing — especially given the circumstances I was in. I signed my lease for a move-in date of 10/31, but decided to do a walkthrough of the unit early on 10/28. During that walkthrough, I discovered that the unit did not have a balcony or patio, something I specifically wanted and discussed before signing. I immediately went to management to address this, as I was never informed by the leasing agent (who no longer works there) that balconies and storage closets were only available for select units. Unfortunately, there were no other available units that met my needs — specifically, a 4th-floor apartment with a balcony and storage closet. I made it clear I would not be moving into that unit. However, I had to settle for a 1st-floor apartment with a move-in date of 11/5, and was still charged prorated rent for 10/31 along with a full month’s rent for November. What made this even harder is that I was trying to get away from an abusive relationship, and I really needed a smooth, safe, and stable transition. Instead, I walked into a unit that looked like it hadn’t even been cleaned. The floors were filthy, the freezer had hair in the ice machine, and the tub and toilet were dirty. On top of that, the patio screen door doesn’t close all the way, and the laundry room door is broken at the top hinge. I’ve reached out to management to get these issues fixed, but overall, this has been a very stressful and disappointing experience. When you’re starting over and trying to create peace in your life, the last thing you expect is to move into a place that isn’t ready or properly maintained. I truly hope management takes accountability, improves communication with future residents, and ensures all units are move-in ready — especially for people who are trusting them with a fresh start. -JP

I recently toured an apartment with Damari, and it was a great experience. Damari was professional, friendly, and well-informed about the property. She answered all my questions thoroughly and gave helpful insights about the neighborhood and amenities. The tour went smooth! Definitely made me feel more confident in considering the apartment!

Living here is okay, can’t use the main amenities since they have restrictions on how many guest you can have. They shut everything down early, it’s upsetting since I like to host for the holidays. For the holidays, it’s super dry! Like no Halloween or Christmas decorations. Plus the gym needs upgrades as well. The positive, there is no big drama, clean enough, maintenance comes in a timely manner. Overall a okay place to live if the price is right when you move in.

Don’t move here! Your apartment will be DIRTY on move-in day and the hallways will be covered in trash. We’ve had LOW water pressure for almost two months, which means issues w/ showering, laundry and cleaning! And the rental office has not sent notification to any of us on when it will be fixed ! The state has a red notice on the front window for their failure as a complex. Dog pee and feces in the hallways. NO safety, the garage doors and key faub entry doors have been broken for YEARS. Broken elevators for months! Car window break ins and stolen tires. Mailroom smells like a sewer! Broken gym equipment. Homeless ppl living in the bathroom/ mailroom . Ceiling falling down. Mold in units. Constant pool closures. Also there is a homeless man living on a mattress across from the building. Enjoy!
