I don't like how UH doesn't allow residential tours in moody, but once you actually live in moody towers, you'll understand why. Each floor is different and has their own problems, however the place looks like its falling apart and the AC seems fixed on a certain temperature range. It seems like the elevators break every week and there's almost multiple false fire alarms each month. The bathrooms are an entirely different story. They also vary from each floor but after talking to a couple students, I've learned that some of them have bugs going rampant. In one floor bathroom, There are flies rampant in the showers, toilets, on the walls, and the ceilings. There's also black mold on the shower curtains. There are cleaners who clean the bathrooms daily, however they do not do a good job. I appreciate them, but all they do is just a quick wipe down. My recommendation is to just stay away from Moody Towers.

The only redeeming part is the price. Just like other reviews said there's always something broken. The fire alarm goes off at least several times a month to the point only a few months into the semester every one ignores them. The bathrooms are pretty disgusting. The cleanest I ever saw them was when some decide to do a bubble bath in the entire bathroom getting bubbles every where. The walls are pretty thin, and you can hear anything in the hall which is even worse on the first floor because it's connected to the main part of the building that can get laud even deep into the night.

This place is a dump. The entire building reeks of mold. There is always something not working, whether it be the front door, water, bathrooms, elevators or even the fire alarm going off constantly. And they are always unannounced and take far too long to fix. The bathrooms are a complete disaster and are barely usable. The only somewhat positive thing is that it’s cheaper compared to others options and right next to a dining hall. It’s not the worst if you keep the price in mind, but the price does not make up for how much of a hassle this place is

Truly the worst dorms to stay at. The air conditioner never worked making the room incredibly stuffy. They cleaned the bathrooms everyday but they were still never clean the way the they should be, you would think grown woman know how to clean up after themselves. The elevators never worked, try to get a room on a lower level. Overall, I would never waste my money on these dorms again.

For my first time in this lunch buffet, it was very nice! The quality of food was adequate. The salads and fixin's was my favorite area! Fresh veggies and loved that I could add quinoa, too. There was a pasta line so I checked out the other four or five stations. The smallest was the Halal, largest may be the Global Kitchen. After a satisfying salad, I found seared tofu and added a simple tuna and cheese half sandwich. (There was a panini press, but that would be for another sandwich.) Much of it is self-serve, which is fine with me. It's also self-bus and that makes it easier to find seating. The surroundings are cool and everywhere it seemed to be pretty clean. I really enjoyed our visit here!
