Wendy is the best. She works crazy hard at keeping the place clean. Every time I see her clean I am amazed. She needs a raise and a vacation and her own unit if she doesn’t have one on site. That’s a lot of work she does that I see her do all on her own. The maintenance guys should have their own unit too that way they don’t have to drive all the way from wherever so that when emergencies happen all they have to do is walk to whatever unit has a work order. Also it would be easier on them. Less hassle. They work a lot as well! Insane how much they do! I do wish whoever keeps breaking the chairs in the pool areas would stop. Slashing them and all that. Not cool at all. Makes it not nice to go outside and enjoy the pool. Also the lap pool is really nice but no matter how often anyone cleans it there’s always some type of debris in there due to the plants/trees close by. So it makes the lap pool not really a lap pool. But that also makes it a quieter area compared to the family pool area. So there’s that. Also very nice pool table. It now obeys the laws of physics. Very pretty color. One pool stick left. But yeah can’t wait to see the new furniture and to match the new pool table. Nice location. Target within walking distance. So is Kroger but further. Also it’s awesome having the post office next door too!

We have lived at Monaco at Main for almost a year now and we absolutely love it. It’s an older building so it has its issues but the staff is on it so none of those issues ever actually become an inconvenience. Some people get annoyed about the water shut offs, but the plumbing is from the 70s so it’s expected to have issues. They are doing routine shut offs right now while replacing the entire system so I expect future shutoffs will be much more rare, with all of this to be expected. The front office crew is top notch and Scarlett, Genesis and Lia are absolute treasures! Maintenance is amazing and extremely competent. Location is amazing and the price is unbeatable, especially for the service and hospitality we receive.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! Management is ineffective, rude, inconsiderate and will place false charges on you. Stayed there 2020-2025. Place consistently got worst. More money for less service and falling quality. When you move out, make no mistake, they will claim you destroyed stuff in your apartment or the hallway or the doors. They charged us with the public uses door damage and it was already broke - BUT provided zero proof (accusation was from Scarlett). For them, since you’re leaving, they will get you. When we first moved, Gina was great. But Scarlett is rude, aggressive, confrontational, and lacks professionalism. If she is having a bad day, she made sure we had one with her. The other staff is great, including Scarlett’s boss, Genesis, who is respectful and kind, even when she disagrees with you. But be careful of Scarlett and record everything, otherwise she will get false charges on you, like she did us. It’s not worth it. Go somewhere where ALL staff is respectful. Scarlett should contact Gina on how to treat customers with respect and decency.

Do not rent from this leasing office. I lived at this property from 2021 until 2025, and the management quality declined drastically over time. When I first moved in, the manager, Lawrence, was professional, responsive, and actively present on the property. Hallways were clean, and maintenance was handled properly. Unfortunately, after he left, everything went downhill. The managers who followed were unresponsive and lazy. Emails were ignored, and even contacting Greystar’s corporate office provided no help — they were worse than the onsite staff. My water bills were consistently extremely high, often over $100, even during periods when I was traveling and not staying in the unit. The same issue happened with electricity due to outdated appliances and inefficient A/C. I raised these concerns multiple times and received no assistance. The assistant manager, Scarlot, was especially rude and unprofessional. Every time I raised a concern, she argued instead of helping and dismissed legitimate complaints. Management also changed the gate access system and forced residents to take a longer route to enter the property. On top of that, we were charged $75 for new key fobs, instead of exchanging the old ones, which is unreasonable. Maintenance requests required multiple follow-ups to get anything fixed. Even then, they attempted to charge residents for items that should be considered normal wear and tear, especially since many fixtures were already 3–4+ years old. After moving out, I was hit with a hefty bill for wall cracks, new carpet, and paint. The wall cracks occurred after the 2021 freeze and were reported multiple times but never repaired. The carpet was over 5 years old, which should have been replaced according to standard multifamily housing rules. The walls had no scratches, damage, kids, or excessive wear. Despite the great location, the management is dishonest, unprofessional, and difficult to deal with. I would not recommend this property unless ownership and management completely change.

Hello Houstonians and interested parties! I’ve been living at this apartment community since July 2023, and my experience has been consistently positive—largely because of the management. Scarlett C. one of the property managers, and she sets a high standard of professionalism, responsiveness, and care for residents. Communication from the management team is always clear, timely, and easy to understand, which makes a huge difference in day-to-day living. I’ve submitted over 30 work orders during my time here, and every single one has been handled swiftly and thoughtfully. The maintenance team is responsive, respectful, and genuinely attentive to residents’ needs. It’s clear that management listens and takes concerns seriously rather than treating them as inconveniences. I don't really know the lead property manager, so I will just say Scarlett and her team foster a well-run, resident-centered community, and it shows in both the operations and the atmosphere of the complex. I truly appreciate the consistency, accountability, and care that go into managing this property, and I would confidently recommend this community to anyone looking for a well-managed place to live.
