Generally speaking it was okay, however the access was kind of confusing and the elevator that was closer to us never worked. The bedrooms were clean and well equipped. Location is great and the key handling was very smooth. Would come back.

I stayed at mid main lofts for roughly 2 weeks while I looked for permanent residence. What sold me was the location. The apartment complex was right in front of the red line which meant that I could get to the TMC and MD Anderson Cancer Center in less than 15 minutes, an absolute joy! The units themselves are quite new. I had everything I needed at the apartment including both a washer and a dryer, as well as a fantastic view of Houston. What was a bit odd is that instead of having hard wooden floors like most apartments, floors were made of stone matching the corridor material and giving the space a more basic, industrial look. I needed to extended my initial booking and while the same unit I was staying in was not available the management team gave me a solution and allowed me stay in another unit for however long I needed which was very much appreciated. Now for the not so good things: The area has a considerable homeless presence, while some people may not care about this, to me as someone coming from Europe it felt quite shocking and made the area feel unsafe. Also, there are no grocery shops around, so if you like me do not have a car, the closest supermarket is Randalls which is at least a 20 minute walk away. So either be ready to carry some weight for a considerable distance or take an Uber/public transportation to get your groceries. The day I arrived and picked my keys from the lockbox, my fob keys were not working. That meant that I couldn't use the elevators nor the stairs so I had to run around like a madman with my suitcases trying to get to my apartment. In the end I was lucky enough to sneak in with a neighbor but only after having run around for a while. While they did offer me some help through the phone to get to my apartment, the least one can expect when picking up the keys is that the management team has checked that they are functional prior to leaving them on the lockbox ready for pick up. The neighbors above smoked weed and the smell reeked through the ventilation system causing the apartment to stink. As others have said, the area is quite noisy so you keep hearing the constant flow of traffic, sirens, and loud music coming from the street. All in all, the apartment was okay to stay in for a few days, I'm not so sure if I would consider it for a yearly lease though...

My friend's closet shelf collapsed yesterday. She placed a work order and did not hear from anyone four a majority of the working day, so closer to the end of the day she goes to the leasing office to inquire about having someone address her issue. The woman she spoke to, in-between mouthfuls of spaghetti, said that she had "too much stuff" on her shelf. It took my friend going back and forth with her for her to finally say that someone will come tomorrow. She left a voicemail and received a call back where she was asked to send a picture of her closet. Well tomorrow comes and when the maintenance team comes, he tells her he can't help her because her clothes are on the floor in the closet. She lives in a studio apartment. Where is she meant to put her stuff? Well, maintenance says he will come back in an hour to fix her closet. Three hours goes by and no one comes back. She called the leasing office and no one picked up. 10 minutes before closing she goes to the leasing office to inquire about having her closet fixed. She speaks to Chris Brewer and is told that maintenance won't be able to address the problem today because they are addressing an "emergency." He could have relayed this message sooner. While she's trying to get him to send someone to fix the problem, two other tenants come in to the leasing office. When she showed them the photos of her apartment, one of the men said he's had the same situation TWICE! She is now going on 2 days without a functioning closet. I've included photos below, including one so you can see what is actually holding the shelf up. If you're considering this community, and you have items you love that you'll need to store in a closet area, I highly suggest you look elsewhere

Easy move in, great management and coworkers, nice atmosphere, gym equipment up to date and all functional, clean pool, clean dog park which is so convenient, nice game room area and plenty of green space areas throughout the complex. Nice neighbors and secured parking as well as access to elevators. Close to everything as well as public transport. Recommend buying yourself a little cart/wagon for grocery hauling

Our stay at this condo was originally planned for 28 days; however, we checked out early due to several challenges. • Noise: Road noise was significant throughout the stay. Street racing, loud music, and modified vehicles were easily heard inside the unit, even with windows closed. Attempts to use a sound machine did not reduce the disruption. • Location: Many of the nearby restaurants advertised as available were closed. The area also had a noticeable homeless presence, which may not align with all guests’ expectations. • Security: The secured parking gate was not operational overnight, limiting the level of vehicle protection advertised. • Comfort & Amenities: Furniture was not comfortable for extended use, the shower leaked, and kitchen storage space was minimal, making long-term stays less practical. • Communication: Communication with the host during the stay was prompt and professional, which was appreciated. While communication was good, the overall experience did not align with the property’s description, particularly for longer-term stays. Guests considering this location may want to evaluate whether the noise level, amenities, and neighborhood environment fit their needs.
