As of today 10/10/2025 11:55am I was informed that this place is income based but has no available units and that there are over 7000 people on the waitlist and her estimate that a unit will be available was 5-10 years. God bless 🙏🏼

This housing authority is an organization used to oppress people. They have you sending bank statements over and over again. Even after you verify child support Child. Even after I’ve already given them statements from the last 2-3 years. If my name comes up on the list after 5-6 years of waiting. Why is the process of verification so hard to the point where they try and frustrate you until you give up. This is a joke. It so sad that these organizations can away with treating people inhumane. Especially when you are displaced. The housing authority needs to be shut down especially when they aren’t actually in the business of helping people who are in need of a place to stay. They waste your time, frustrate you have you verify all of this income and still manage keep you waiting for a response.

Waiting 6 years and the landlord said that the called me and writing me two letters but I only received one so I told her that landlord said not they problem but its ok when God close one door he will open another I have a house no low income are housing base are hud so I thank God for what I have. Its the same I have a three bedroom home with yard and gate so I can't be upset only God no why I didn't get the low income townhouse o well so for that reason I give the Long Dr Townhouse a zero for lying and a 6 for pet friendly and a 2 for understanding no star for Long Dr Townhouse... The staff be lying

I was on this waiting list 3 years and because I didn't receive some form in the mail to fill out and mail back I was removed from the waitlist instead of them helping me to fix the issue and give me a chance to find a better living situation, they just cut me out altogether. 3 years is a very long time to be waiting just to be taken off the waitlist for not receiving a form. Some ppl really need help with housing and you shouldn't cut them off on a technically issue.
