We lived here for about a year. After a change in the person in charge at the management company, we saw a huge improvement comparing to the beginning. Nancy did an excellent job taking care of us and took care of service requests very fast. Thank you for everything.

The actual Townhome community interior is relatively quiet. However the front faces Kempwood and from a noise perspective it NEVER stops. It is loud all the time my room was upstairs by the balcony and I constantly heard cars with their revved up engines and pipes. There have been several occasions where the street traffic crashed into the fence and spun out in the front lawn space. I was there for 4yrs and in the beginning I had minimal issues with having my service request processed. But when property management changed so did service. I could very rarely if ever get a response to make repairs as needed. I constantly had to call or text and communication was lacking. The rent continued to increase "to meet market demands" but there weren't any improvements happening to the property, despite being advised otherwise. I felt as any request I made was overlooked and dismissed. The silver lining in the property was Mr. Mike he is so kind and responsive. Going through him is the only way anything was ever done. Due to the constant noise and poor property management I would not suggest this location at this time.

The unit itself is good with decent sized rooms. However, I would agree with another reviewer who said the kitchen is rather small. The storage space is ok, but counter prep space is quite tight. The overriding problem I had with living there was the noise from Kempwood Drive. I thought I could get used to it, but it is more or less constant with ebbs and flows. The worst of it is the loud engines that punctuate the general level of traffic noise. These are mostly vehicles in otherwise good condition intentionally made loud. Like the general traffic noise, the punctuations are more or less constant with ebbs and flows, and often one like this comes by at 3am as well. Contrary to other reviewers, however, I experienced good response to service requests or when contacting management for something. Also, the grounds were maintained well. I had limited interaction with neighbors, but from what I did have, it seemed like a decent community.

Had you asked me to rate these townhomes a couple years ago, I would've agreed with the higher ratings. However, new management has taken over, and while that could've been a good thing, as it was often hard to get any issues resolved previously. I still run into the same issues now, only my rent has drastically increased while stating that they are keeping up with the market rates. I would normally understand that, but they have no regard for fixing broken things around the house nor working with current residents on outstanding orders and problems that are of no fault of my own, but rather problems with the units themselves or previous management. Due to the drastic increase ($300 in 12 months) and the lack of concern or responsiveness to any issues, the cost simply isn't worth the hassle anymore.

The kitchen counter space is limited, perfect for someone who doesn’t really spend a lot of time there. The downstairs bedroom and bath are quite small and for the price of rent. The access to I-10 is okay about 5 traffic lights away and too much construction on 290.
