This is my second time living here at HUnter Ridge apts . The first time like around 11 years ago , My experience there was wonderful, answered all my questions, got me a apartment that covered what I needed . Barbara, Hannah welcome my family and I with open arms all was kept up. Unfortunately I had moved out of state , But I always told myself when I come back , going to get me a place again with Hunter Ridge . And here I am again going on 7 years love it . If ever anyone needs a apartment to call home , Reasonable and affordable, Hunter Ridge is the place . Very clean roomy and has had àlot of changes . Also has laundry room open for late or early washing . Maintenance always on point . Come experience Hunter Ridge living.

Loved the unit that my girlfriend and I were blessed to stay in! The apartment managers and maintenance guys were friendly and prompt when we experienced any issues, of which there were seldom. Definitely one of the best deals you can get in the hill country. Well insulated with great floors, paint, and dependable appliances. The crape myrtle trees around the complex are a wonderful touch and look absolutely spectacular when in bloom. I would recommend renting here to both family and friends!

April, the property manager is a complete negligent, absent and conscious-less woman that is absolutely putting tenants in gross danger in regards to heat stroke and the lack of air conditioning in many units, and when the tenants complain, nothing gets fixed. As a confidant to a few of the tenants, though I don’t reside here myself, I’ve been inside their apartments and have felt firsthand the ambient temperature. I guarantee you that a heat stroke is in the future for some residents under this woman’s management. When I spoke to April personally, I was assured that no one was lacking in their air conditioning at any unit. The number I reached here was also different than the one on the lease signed by one of the claimants of this gross endangerment happening. I’m sitting in one of the units that have been “fixed” and while the thermostat is set to 69 yet the indoor temperature reads 77 degrees as I type this. It’s 1pm in June. Heat stroke is a lethal threat. The unit outside is whining and grinding and there are a few other that are making very terrible noises on the property. April tells me that maintenance is here daily. The tenant must submit in writing to the front office to even be acknowledged yet I’ve watched this tenant call, submit in writing, call again, and still receive absolutely zero communication from either property management or maintenance of any sort. This violates so many city codes and to be frank, moral ethics. Anyone living here, please know your rights as a tenant and know there are steps to take above property management. You do not have to settle for abuse. City council will be notified if nothing is done within 3 business days from the date of this review. Fair housing is real and the housing authority of the area is not a force to be reckoned with.

I was recommended by a friend to come look at these apartments and upon inspection they were not “new” as I was told. I have seen roaches in the apartment. Some tenants told me that their AC do not work and haven’t worked for months and the owner didn’t do anything about it. Lights flicker all the time. They are not structurally sound. You can hear what everyone in the apartments next to you and above you are doing. Hear normal conversations without any problems. The owner is highly disrespectful. She told a tenant that he was annoying and had 10!days to leave. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! WORST PLACE IN KERRVILLE
