Great to find a place near the hospitals furnished, fenced in and a low traffic area. Had to make Houston our home for six plus weeks and was relieved to find something that could accommodate our family. Neighborhood felt safe, the foot traffic on the street was people walking their dogs. Rental was clean had all the necessities. Hosts were pleasant.

Our family rented a house from Van and Helen while our son was hospitalized and then recovering from a spinal cord injury. Being able to find a fully furnished home so close to the Medical Center was a blessing and made a difficult time more bearable. The homes are all in the same neighborhood where Van and Helen live, so they were available and happy to help with anything we needed. The home had extra space for our other kids to visit comfortably and was private with fencing and a security gate. The location was convenient for the hospital, doctor visits and shopping/food. Was a great alternative to hotels or apartments and became our temporary home away from home.

My wife and I rented a home from Van and Helen for several months for treatment at MD Anderson. The home and grounds were immaculately maintained. The location could not have been more convenient for treatment, shopping and restaurants. If I had to rate the best part of our stay, it was Van and Helen. We traveled over a 1000 miles for treatment and they made us feel as if we were home. Thanks Van and Helen,

I reserved Roseway for my son and I for a stem cell transplant he received at MD Anderson. Life becomes total chaos when your child (25 yo adult child) has cancer-but Helen and Van made it so easy for us. We were allowed to have his pets with us which made a huge difference to my sons emotional state and recovery. Super clean house, super close to MD Anderson and lots of good places to eat. The house has everything you need, and I felt totally safe and secure in the neighborhood and in the home when I was there alone. Can’t say enough about my experience with Van and Helen and I appreciate them offering short term housing to families in need. 5 Stars hands down!

My wife and I stayed at 4109 Lymbar Dr. For 2 months while she was getting chemo treatment at MD Anderson Hospital. This house was a very nice alternative to a hotel. The neighborhood was friendly, clean and safe. I took many evening dog walks there. The house is well maintained and the private backyard was a real plus. Conveniently located to many amenities in the southwest quarter of Houston. 👍🏼
