I love it so far! Everyone is neighborly! Tiffany is very sweet and maintenance has been great as well! I have no complaints and it’s super spacious!

Overall it’s been a great experience, when i first moved in a had some ongoing issues with my a/c unit for a few days but each time i called someone was here right away to assess the issue each time until it was corrected honestly I hadn’t had a issue since then with my unit.. they’re all nice in the office I hadn’t any bad experiences with either of them.. But I will say the cats is a issue and it’s a lot but you can’t fully blame the management because it’s the tenants in that building feeding them (tenants should be held responsible) and they’re now all around and having babies.. I still gave a 5 star rating because I hadn’t had any issues with my unit that they didn’t take care asap and NO issues with the ladies in the office thus far everyone has been sweet to me, it’s quite and there is security on the premises every night.

Over the 10 years here at Catalina Village, we have had every major appliance replaced (except the microwave). For the most part the replacements were done well, and is quick fashion. When the stove/oven was replaced 2 years ago, it was replaced with a cheaper, lower-quality appliance. It has never held a stable oven temperature, and the "sensored" stove burners would not always turn on. I requested that my stove oven be either fixed or replaced again. When maintenance came to repair it, they were there within 2 hours of me making the call, and replaced several parts. It now works wonderfully. I tried it at several different temperatures, and it held the correct temp each time. The burners were replaced with non-sensored burners that (so far) have not had any issues. It is great that just before the holidays I know I can bake my cheesecakes and other goods without having to worry about an unreliable oven.

Slum lords, avoid like the plague. You may think it’s cheap for the size, but you end up paying so much more than what’s listed. They took over a hundred dollars a month in “admin fees.” they have the least efficient AC system in the world so I ended up paying over 300 a month for the electricity bill, even when I turned it off during the day and had it set to 74 at night. For the past half a year there were roaches, and I put in work orders several times but they never sent anyone to check it out. There was a shooting on the property, but they pay for a security guard with our money. As far as I can tell the security doesn’t do anything except harass residents going to and from their own home.

This property would be a good one if the property owners, along with its management company, had done the repairs from Hurricane Beryl over a year ago. Your long-time tenants are moving out, and I do have the photo to prove what I am writing about. The City of Houston has a red ticket citation on the office door.
