I came to visit my daughter and I plan on getting her a new place asap. Theres homeless people living in front and around the complex. Trash bins are full and theres trash all throughout the halls. She has complained and even had to call the police because a man shows up almost daily checking for unlocked cars. Apparently the upstairs neighbor lets his giant dogs loose at night. The guy who rents her place (Sam) just got kicked out too for scamming the HOA out of their maintenance fee's. The list goes on an on.. I get that it's close to the city but it's not worth the $1000/month and the headaches. Dont rent or buy here, this place is downright disgusting

The people there are not to clean. They don’t clean grass in breezeway after lawn cut. The pool is nasty water green . Very bad maintenance for the apartments the stairs are fallen off

These are individually-owned/managed condos, so your mileage may vary, but the owners of the property weren't a nightmare to deal with, the managers were. I would label some of their practices 'predatory,' especially the towing policy. The H-Town Towing drivers are emboldened and empowered, and once towed my girlfriend's car from her own covered parking spot because (they claim) her tire was on the line separating the spaces. This was immediately before they towed her rental car out of that space for having a visitor's sticker (though she was told explicitly that that would suffice by the property managers). We were never reimbursed for any towing, despite vigorously contesting about 60% of the many, numerous times we wound up getting towed. There also is a mechanized gate for cars that opens into the complex; simply driving up to the exit gate will open it, but a $35 key fob is required to open the entrance (since the process of calling residents through the gate's keypad doesn't work). The only pedestrian gate in the fencing usually remains locked, meaning you need a $17 key, a working vehicle or some really terrific jumping skills to escape if a fire breaks out. That can't be legal. Also, because the apts are not especially nice or expensive, you'll likely be treated like a criminal monster trying to run some kind of con if you complain or raise any issues. 'If you were a better class of clientele who deserved better treatment, you wouldn't be living here,' is how I imagine their line of thought goes. Ugh - awful. Stay away, if possible.

Price is pretty reasonable, but it's been nothing but headaches dealing with parking, towing, extra keys, you name it. If you can be elsewhere, I'd recommend that. Kids will play in the parking lot complex until 2 or 3am, and their playing/laughing is kind of haunting. Definitely annoying.
