I’ve had a great experience living here! The community is clean, quiet, and well-maintained. The staff is always professional and helpful, especially Sarah. She is amazing — friendly, responsive, and truly goes above and beyond to make sure residents are taken care of. Highly recommend this community!

When I first moved in to Grand Cypress Apartments I was so happy. Daisy and Emilio were amazing! They got me in the apartment quickly as it was an emergency situation and I was extremely happy to have gotten into the unit in such a short amount of time. They helped me with everything that I needed and they were kind, sympathetic and very very friendly. Fast forward to today and I would not have moved into this apartment if I would have known that the management was going to change and people that are in the office are extremely money hungry and unfair. Any time there was an issue with rent even being a few days late, management put pressure on me and continuously harassed me about late fee that I owed! I paid the rent with an incorrect bank account I went down to ask them to remove the late fee and they refused even though I had proof that I called corporate which left me very upset because it was not my fault that the rent wasn't paid on time. The most jarring issue that occured is regarding the early eviction notice. I already put in a 60 day notice and I was in the middle of fighting with my job about my short term disability payment. I explained to the office management that I would be late paying my rent but it would be paid and I paid my rent around 1 am and then the next day there was a eviction notice that was delivered by the Constable on my door and it was dated back 7 days so they had already proceeded to file with the court when I told them that I would be paying them and I did pay them and I have proof of that. These types of inhumane acts are one of the main reasons why I am so excited to be moving out of this apartment complex I cannot believe that people are so cold that they would do this to a single mother with health issues when I was in constant communication with them. I don't know if it was because they assumed I wasn't going to pay or whatever the reason was but even though I feel like this situation was handled egregiously I still went down there to ensure them that the rent was paid only to be met with a legal document on my door. These types of issues are one of the main reasons why apartment living is so difficult when you have money hungry greedy corporations that fail to give people things are not well in the society we have had a lot of issues and having a roof over your head is becoming harder and harder to maintain but with people like that in the office rest assured that if you fall behind they're not going to be concerned about you or your family they're just going to try to milk you for every penny and that is completely ridiculous. I also forgot to mention that someone left a handwritten note on my charger stating I needed to learn how to park straight to have neighbors that are so disrespectful that they would think it was okay to touch my car and not come up and speak to me like a human being is indicative of the types of tenants that reside in this community I am so glad I am moving.

I recently toured this community with Sarah, and she was absolutely great! She was welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience enjoyable. The community itself was lovely and well-maintained. I’m not planning to move just yet — just getting a head start on my search — but based on my visit, I definitely plan to come back when the time is right. The location is perfect for my daily commute, which is a huge plus.

Would not recommend. I recently renewed my lease thinking it was better than finding a new place that was cheaper but so far I regret it. I transferred to another unit and it was a bad call. The fees that are charged here at move out are ridiculous. But that’s not why i decided to post a review which I hardly do. I was wondering why the unit I moved to was vacant and this past weekend I got my answer. My down stair neighbor literally opened my front door to my apartment to come and tell me that we were being too loud. I had some guests over for my birthday, which it was only a total of 5 people and only 2 of us live in the unit. He also said all day and all night we are loud. I’m wondering how in the world is that possible when only 2 of us live in the apartment. Forget what he had to say though. Who in their right mind would push open someone’s door only because it wasn’t closed all the way?! He tried excusing himself by telling me that he’s a cop and also the community officer. I couldn’t care less who you are. Nobody has the right to open the door to anyone’s home even if it wasn’t closed properly. I was scared to death when I heard my door get pushed opened. Now I feel like I’m walking on egg shells and it’s very upsetting. I’m not sure how they built this complex but they did a horrible job. You can hear everything and the cop downstairs should know that already. The nerve that guy had to do something like that. If I would’ve done that to his apartment, I can just imagine how that would’ve turned out for me. I can’t wait to get out of here and be done with this place. Not worth it. At least not for me.
