This apartment complex offers a fantastic location near campus and downtown, with many residents appreciating the spacious units, modern appliances, and robust amenities like a 24-hour gym and community events. The maintenance team often receives praise for being friendly, responsive, and efficient in addressing work orders. However, prospective residents should be aware of recurring issues such as inconsistent cleanliness in common areas, frequent fire alarms, and occasional problems with garage gates and security. Some residents have also noted concerns about the value for money, citing unexpected fees and a decline in overall property upkeep over time.

Love the location. It was a much better complex under knightvestment. Busboom has allowed the building to fall into shambles. Common areas are always filthy despite emails claiming cleaners are coming to address it (they never come). Trash valet is inconsistent. I could over look that as most apartments follow the same "no shits given" when it comes to their tenets, however I just had to wait 40 days to get my Hvac fixed. For 40 days they denied multiple request to bring in a specialist in the name of saving money. We were without a working Hvac system for 3 rent cycles, but despite them refusing to uphold their end of our lease they were happy to continue taking our money. I will, at this point, strongly recommend to anyone I meet looking for an apartment stays away for The Drake and all busboom properties. Edit: the automated " we're so sowwy π₯Ί" is BS. They have have never made even the slightest attempt to improve anything. The leasing office is constantly empty, garage gates are broken more often than not. Trash still everywhere. I'll update this IF they ever follow through on this hollow promises.

Unfortunately on the day of my visit, the woman at the front desk seemed cold and somewhat rude, definitely not friendly to someone who is a potential resident. Combined with the abundance of overflowing trash cans throughout the amenities and horrific smell and trash in the hallways, I will not be renting at this complex. I also signed up for a agent-guided tour and was practically forced into doing a self-guided tour through the complex. It really is a shame because the location of the property and units themself were good.

Chris was the goat. Always helps with any work orders and always super helpful

Good apartment interior. Not the safest complex. Iβve gotten my car booted once and towed once so get ready for that. (Both times were my fault, but some lenience towards renters is due imo) Iβm writing this as Iβm being ubered to pick up my car

Self guided tour doesnβt even work. I wasted 30 minutes trying to talk to some AI agent that doesnβt even know any codes to apartments. The human I was able to get a hold of after 20 minutes was not helpful. Save yourself in trouble and look elsewhere.
