I lived at Westcliff Park for a year while I was attending TCU for grad school. My apartment was big, especially for just me, comfortable, and priced very reasonably. The community is quiet and the people who live here are generally respectful and kind to one another. The thing about this apartment complex that really stands out is the staff, Emily, Thalia, and Jeanie. I moved to Fort Worth from California and was very nervous about moving into an apartment that I had never seen before, but they made the process as smooth and painless as possible. They are ALWAYS friendly, and I’ve never lived anywhere where the office staff was so willing to bend over backwards to make sure everything I needed was taken care of. After the first time I met her, Emily greeted me every time I saw her by my first name, and I’m sure she is this personable with every resident. When I went to the office to pick up packages that had been delivered, Thalia always knew which ones were for me without having to ask my name or unit number. I had less interactions with Jeanie, but she was always warm and kind when I came to the office. It’s the little things like this that the staff does that made me feel safe and at home at Westcliff Park. I would gladly recommend living here to anyone.

This apartment complex is very cheap, but the utilities are expensive. It’s a good place to live if you don’t mind cockroaches and you are trying to save up money. It is conveniently near an Albertsons and TCU. The environment is generally chill and you don’t have to worry about noise complaints. Emily and the maintenance crew are great. However, I had a personal experience where management falsified a carpet review and tried to take my deposit and then charge me an extra $2000 for their mistake. Bottom line is they are not a trustworthy company worth signing a lease with.

I love this place and would never leave if it wasn't for work. Cheapest rent in the area by far. Maintenance man (Reuben) is super friendly and says hello everyone time he sees me, and Emily (the property manager) is also pretty cool. Cozy atmosphere, two swimming pools and a rec center, several restaurants within walking distance. Only complaint is the building is old so stuff breaks all the time in my apartment, but you could probably avoid that by getting one of the renovated buildings. There were some issues with roaches when I first moved in, but some Raid got rid of them and I haven't seen any in a few months. A lot of TCU music majors live here which might bother you if you're noise sensitive, but I actually enjoy listening to the trumpeter practice when I go to get my mail. Also, utilities are overpriced. I'm sure I could get cheaper on my own. Hope you like cats

The Westcliff Park Apartment staff are very friendly and respond quickly to all of my requests ... and I had a repetitive issue when I moved in with an old hvac pipe, but always listened attentively and fixed it promptly - even worked with my schedule when larger work needed to be done. The staff were hugely accommodating! Also, there was a mix up/misunderstanding when I first moved in and they went above and beyond to keep me from going elsewhere and I'm so glad. I even decided to renew and continue to stay and enjoy it here. The neighbors are kind and considerate. The apartments are a quiet lovely place to reside. If you are looking for a reasonably priced home in an area with great schools and close to TCU and other great places, you much check out these apartments. They are not the newest apartments around, but they are quaint and roomy and really a great value for the neighborhood. I have read reviews that mention "creepy crawlies" and other vermin, but I have not had that problem at all. The biggest problem I have had are silverfish in the downstairs bathroom, and I have lived here for almost two years now. Make sure that when you move in all the holes around your pipes are filled in and if not, get those filled in! One of the maintenance guys will do it for you, gladly!

Poor management. The only reason why they even get one star, is because zero stars isn't an option. They try to downplay everything, they are not quick to respond, and you have to essentially beg them multiple times to have any maintenance or work done in the apartment. Anytime you request maintenance, they always say, "well we've NEVER had that issue before," subtly making YOU feel like you're the person at fault, even when the issue is a leaking roof for two months. Oh, you've never had that issue before? Right. It took them well over two months to fully repair my leaky ceiling, and they STILL never addressed the mold issue. After multiple bouts with severe allergy problems, which only affect me when I'm in the apartment, we asked to have the carpets and air ducts cleaned, to which they STILL have not done, even though they promised to take care of it. We keep getting excuse after excuse with them, and lots of unfulfilled promises of maintenance. Our latest episode is with mice in the apartment due to two neighbors moving out of the building at the same time. We keep our place clean, never leave food out, we vacuum and sweep all the time, and are always wiping down the counters. It certainly has nothing to do with our hygiene, so it was a big surprise to me to see mice droppings on my bed, on my floor, in the kitchen, under the bathroom sink, inside the kitchen counter, and on the living room floor one morning. I went out of town for a week, and specifically requested the mice issue to be taken care of by the time I returned. A week later, and I have yet to see any action taken to eliminate the problem. Again, after I was promised the issue would be handled, it hasn't been. And this is the M.O. with them -- they promise, promise, promise, but it seems like they like to shirk their responsibilities, instead making the renter feel like the responsible party. I've lived in many places -- none as bad as this. The management staff is plain awful. They're irresponsible, they never do as they say, and they always find the cheapest ways to avoid problems. I definitely DO NOT recommend this complex, moreover having to deal with this management. Save yourself a huge headache, and avoid this place like the plague.
