Mesa Ridge Apartments

May 2024 (4/5 stars) These Apartments are still in worse shape than there were on my 2019 move in - the pools have not been functional since the 2022 reviews (see photos) However, the current management team has been responsive in cleaning up the property and addressing residents needs. Also the endless cycle of repairing water issues from the February 2021 freeze has finally stopped!! There is also a security detail who monitors the grounds. It’s a big improvement over where the apartments were six months ago! Right now, I’d rate it a 4/5. Will update again, End of Year. November 2022 Update (1/5 stars) Water issues persist, a sewage backup filled the bathtub with raw sewage from the drain and a water leak within the wall in front door entrance. Office number was unresponsive and voicemail box was full. Had to call city code compliance. *The office did fix the issue the next day and paid for a maid to clean up bathroom.* but the lack of after hours emergency maintenance was unsettling. November 29 - Office loses power causing internet and boilers to go out, meaning no hot water for over 24 hours, when low was 28°F. July 2022 Update: It’s 109°F and Meadow Ridge Apartments can’t keep either of their pools clean. Between the maintenance team lying about the AC unit working for six weeks and running my electric up $500 over the same March-April-May period last year, to the hot water being out two dozen times, to now the pool not being maintained in the summer, MARS Residential has does done a horrible job taking over managing this place. May 2022 UPDATE: I have now been here 2 years 4 months. The apartments were bought in December 2021. There was no communication with residents, the website to pay rent went down, and communication since has been spotty. If you want to talk to the office, 90% of the time you must go inside. They ignore online service tickets, there’s no voicemail, and when there was, they didn’t answer it. My AC stopped blowing cold air on March 27th and it took 5 visits to the office for a maintenance man to come see it. Every visit the office lied and said the maintenance team would be out that day. They did not come until May 3rd. And when they came out, they argued the AC was working properly, yet the AC will not lower the temperature by a single degree and running non-stop all day. I have lived here over 2 years and this has never happened before. This Apartment Management will not answer the phone, will not return online tickets, and then will blame you for appliances not working They are the absolute worst. Original 2020 Rating - 4 stars Current Rating - 1 star Original Review: 4 stars I’ve been here 3 months now and the corner of the apartments I’m in is quiet with plenty of shade trees. The complex has had at least 1 community party a month with the exception of now, during the COVID-19 crisis. Then, they communicated options for residents to get food if needed. In fact, the communication from manager Nikki S. has been regular, thorough, and comforting with a sense she cares about this community. I would certainly recommend these apartments.
