Leuda May Apartments

I went through 4 property managers while living here last year. When I moved out, I was under the impression I would get my deposit back especially since the place looked better when I moved out than it did when I moved in as you can see. There’s another tenant who lets his dog crap everywhere and never picks it up, people constantly smoking weed, things breaking, dealing with mold and holes. If you’re single, I guess but if you have kids, not a place. The new property owners are great but I just wouldn’t move here again.

Since 2021 hit and Astra residential took over things were better than when Simply had it out if Kansas City. Now, a new management has taken over ^ I'm not even sure who I just met some random woman one day that now sends us weekly emails threatening us about policies no one has ever been made to do or enforce. Maybe tell us who you are and show some respect you will get respect in return. I will say that emails are at least in proper English with full sentences. Update: New regional director of Metric seems to be genuine and invested in the property progress. At this time, I have nothing negative to say about them. I have seen on going maintenance issues been addressed and the dumpster issue has been resolved

I dont even know where to begin with this place. This apartment has put me thru the most distraught times of my life. They have neglected their responsibilities to make this a humane place to live in. We moved into a different unit after being with them for a year and transferred leases. The entire moving process was so stressful as they only gave us one day to move and pressures us to be out of our former apartment in just hours. Not a single person from management vetted our new apartment before moving in and once we had moved all of our things into our new place we started to notice that the place was infested with roaches so we spent our own money to fumigate the place TWICE. we contacted the complex to get their one pest control as it is their property therefore their responsibility. The fumigation did not in fact work and the apartment is so much worse than we thought. it pains me to think that all the things I own are now infested with roaches, me and my roommate have not spent a single night in there as it is too unbearable to sleep there. they live in the walls and are all over our things. we have contacted management so many times and no one has gotten back to us. another issue to address is that the ac unit does not even work and its completely unbearable in this 100 degree plus weather. we don't even seem to be a priority to this apartment complex we are begging for them to reach back to us. Then they mess up the payment portal to pay our rent and triple the price and after reaching out multiple times for them to correct it, they ignore our request and continue to charge for late fees.this is the most disgusting and neglectful apartment complex do not rent here !!! i’m attaching photos of the last renters and how they threw out all their belongings because they were infested with roaches

These apartments are charming. If you want new, or trendy- this is not your spot. If you would rather have character and live in a fantastic neighborhood, then they are a great choice. The apartment manager, Zoraya, has come through for me, hero status, on several occasions. She is flexible, attentive, and really cares about people. Chris, our maintenance guy is a sweetheart and gets things done quickly.

I already have almost 2 years living in this community, at the beginning with original management group it excelent " great they're coming back" because, the management group before it was a catastrophic...the property was going down. Happy again 👍
