Over the past year, I’ve had a consistent problem with deliveries to the Highline on Magnolia property. Although I was told the office would be open Tuesday through Saturday, they’re often not available on Saturdays and are never present on Sundays or Mondays. Basically the office staff is nonexistent! This has made receiving packages extremely unreliable. This property has been here for a while now, and I don’t understand how management hasn’t resolved this situation. It would be so much simpler if delivery services like FedEx had a code or a fob to access the building and deliver packages reliably. ESPECIALLY when the employees aren’t here! Or put the doors on a timer! SOMETHING!

I love the manager. She is a vibe and accommodating. I equally appreciate the office leasing staff. However,I took out one star.An apartment without gym or pool is so expensive.The unit size of 554 footage for almost $1300. A tiny one bedroom is ridiculous.It is so expensive and tiny .

Highline on Magnolia is hands down the best place I have ever lived. From start to finish, the management team—specifically Evalyse and Tatiana—were incredibly helpful, easy to talk to, and attentive to every one of my needs. Thanks to them, I found my perfect apartment. I make it a mission to meet the staff wherever I live, and I have never encountered a team with such high standards and genuine care. Beyond the service, the value is unbeatable; the rent is amazingly affordable for what you get, including a smart thermostat, a huge kitchen with upgraded appliances, and a high-quality washer and dryer. The building is safe, secure, and impeccably clean—even the hallways smell amazing! The surrounding area is dog-friendly, diverse, and packed with great restaurants and bars. My experience here has truly made me feel like there is "no place like home." I can’t thank the team enough for the peace of mind they’ve given me. Evalyse, you are a hero without a cape! It’s because of your kindness and availability that I can see myself living here for many years to come.

We’ve been enjoying life at the Highline on Magnolia for the past four months, and it’s truly felt like home. From the stunning views from our fourth-floor apartment to the friendly team who always greet us with a warm smile or cheerful hello, everything about this place radiates hospitality. We love the flexibility of cooking cozy meals in our own space or heading out to explore the fantastic variety of restaurants lining West Magnolia. Whether it’s live music drifting through the air or vibrant outdoor events happening just steps away, there’s always something that makes this neighborhood feel alive.

I would not recommend moving here if you’re are afraid of bugs, have a lot of books, value your clothing, have allergies, or you’re a light sleeper. I have seen more silverfish in the last few months of living here than I have in my entire life. I can not wait until my lease is up, if breaking my lease didn’t cost the same amount as staying for the rest of the lease I would already be gone. I have even spotted one in my bed and slept at a friend’s place until the scheduled pest control visit (they were very nonchalant about this) but I was told they would have pest control do a follow up visit which didn’t happen and I was told “these things happen”. You do not get pest control in your unit unless you request it . When I first moved in I would wake up sneezing at 3:00am almost every night, I had to take multiple allergy pills and get an air filter to finally make it through the night. If you do decide to rent here do not get an apartment with the window facing Magnolia street, you can actually hear people singing karaoke at the bar across the street at night. You can also hear people yelling, cars driving by, and people talking on side walk. I would include videos with audio if I could attach them in review. The stated rent amount on website does not include a $50 resident fee. They tried to charge me for electricity for days that I was not living in unit (I had not received my keys yet) and it took at least three conversations and a week to resolve the charges. They will tow your car if your registration is expired and there are not enough parking spaces in garage for all tenants (if you look at proposed site plan and parking calculations the parking tabulation includes street parking and parking behind building at 1.13 spaces per tenant but for “structured” it’s .52 per tenant). I have personally witnessed a man throwing water bottles at car windows that were parking on the street at night. There are no amenities and packages are delivered outside your door, in the lobby on the ground next to mailboxes, or sometimes even outside of building. When I moved in the apartment was not very clean, I filled up my vacuum twice just vacuuming the bedroom so take plenty of pictures on move in day (I did). Eddie management changed the hallways used to be vacuumed weekly, now hallways have clearly not been vacuumed in weeks. There is one trash shoot at the end of one hall and if it is backed up (has happened more times than I like) you will have to bring your trash back to your apartment and wait for it to be resolved. I will update how my move out process goes and if I receive my deposit back.
