Unprofessional handling of living conditions during active construction For two full weeks, we lived in our apartment while active construction and ceiling repairs were taking place, including periods when portions of the ceiling were removed. During this time, the unit contained exposed wiring, exposed nails, and fiberglass, and industrial fans ran throughout the day. During this period, I experienced skin irritation and remained primarily in the bedroom to limit contact with the construction area. We were informed that a rent credit would be contingent on signing a non-disclosure agreement, even though this is not a requirement stated in our current lease. We were also informed that any alternative accommodation or transfer would require starting a new lease. Initially, management did not offer a rent credit. After we reviewed our lease and followed up, we were later told a credit would be applied. Since then, responses and proposed resolutions have changed multiple times, resulting in prolonged back-and-forth instead of a clear resolution under our current lease. The only option presented to us was a transfer to another unit under a new lease at a significantly higher rental rate, which would have created additional cost and disruption for us . Overall, the handling of this situation has been unprofessional, slow, and inconsistent. Living in the unit during active construction was extremely uncomfortable and stressful. While the repairs themselves were necessary, the lack of reasonable accommodation, clarity, and follow-through regarding the rent credit made an already difficult situation much worse. At the time of posting, the rent credit has still not been applied. Update regarding the response sent to my fiancé: Alternative accommodations were mentioned; however, the proposed $1,000 credit is conditioned on signing a non-disclosure agreement and starting a new lease at a higher rental rate than our current lease. These terms do not resolve the situation in a way that aligns with our existing agreement. We are requesting that this matter be addressed in accordance with the terms outlined in our current lease, rather than through new or external conditions.

We dealt with a ceiling leak from the unit above that resulted in drywall removal and sections of our ceiling being opened for repairs. While the active leak was addressed quickly, the repair process that followed was prolonged and far more disruptive than originally communicated. For roughly two weeks, we were living in a unit under active construction. Portions of the ceiling were removed, insulation was exposed, and industrial drying equipment ran throughout the day. The constant noise, exposed materials, and ongoing work significantly interfered with our ability to live normally. We were unable to comfortably use our kitchen or common areas the way we typically would, and much of our daily routine was disrupted. During that time, we experienced skin irritation and respiratory discomfort that coincided with the exposed materials and ongoing repairs, which added to our concern. Our frustration was less about the need for repairs and more about how the situation was handled. Completion timelines shifted, communication changed, and follow-through felt inconsistent. We made multiple efforts to resolve the matter respectfully and directly. A rent concession and legal agreement were discussed, but timelines continued to move and communication stalled. We were also presented with the option to transfer under a new lease term rather than adjusting our current lease, which would have added additional cost and disruption. Unexpected maintenance issues can happen anywhere. What matters most is communication, clarity, and reasonable accommodation during the process. In our experience, those elements were lacking, which made an already difficult situation significantly more stressful.

Love this place! They really care about the residents and try to continuously improve the property. Their repair staff are amazing! Kelvin & Rodrigo are always extremely prepared, professional and helpful. They ALWAYS get the job done right the first time. It is quite astounding to me that they always arrive so quickly after I put in my repair request; typically they arrive to repair the same day the request is made! Their work ethic is so inspiring and frees up our family schedule to do other things rather than waiting on repairs. Again we love this place!

This community is amazing. I’d say it’s the best apartment community I’ve lived at, and I’ve lived at quite a few. The amenities are great and the property is really spacious, which is great if you have a dog. The staff is also extremely helpful and prompt with great communication - and Tiara specifically has been a rockstar all the way back to when we did our first tour of the property. No complaints whatsoever.

The maintenance crew here is super friendly and quick to respond. They even make an effort to remember your name. Same goes for the leasing staff and the manager. Also the apartments are really nice, great finishes, nice views, and they have two Blink chargers for charging your EV. Ivan on the maintenance crew is very thoughtful and generous and you can tell he cares. Same goes for everyone else on staff that I’ve interacted with.
