Where do I start; I can’t wait for my lease to be up. The apartment itself hasn’t had many issues; besides the hot water frequently not working and being fixed. They notify you at the last minute which is an issue; not to mention they always threaten you with a fine for anything, but never seem to fix the actual problems. They have a passive aggressive demeanor in the office. Before moving in I was told they don’t tow cars anymore now all the sudden you have to have a sticker to park under the shed of your assigned parking or you’ll be towed. So say it’s more than 1 person living in the apartment and you have 2 cars the first sticker is free but you have to pay 40 for another one which is wild considering both cars our registered to the apartment. The dog poop is insane people don’t pick it up they sent something out about it but still no change. They will try to blame dog poop and/or trash on you if it’s by your apartment or car even if you don’t have an animal or wasn’t even your trash. They love sending out threats with no actual proof of the person actually doing it. They have workers who legit complain about doing their job which is pick up dog poop when the residents fail to do so, clean the pool and pick up trash. They always lie and tell you they received several complaints don’t believe it; it’s literally one of there workers who walks around with a complaint. Management needs to be changed the rent is too high for extra fees of nonsense. The apartment complex isn’t responsible for anything but when the water didn’t work you think they reduce rent no when we was snowed in do you think they cared; no. I mind my business and usually I’m never at home that much but the amount of times there is a text about something broke, some type of issue is exceeded. They even threatened me one time for noise complaints and said it would be a fine and I was in a whole different state and I don’t have animals so how can noise come from an empty apartment just now they are about to fix something that was broken since before moving in. I’ve been here 8 months so let that sink in instead of worrying about sending threats out they need to worry about how maintenance just now got to my apartment

Although the rent here is more affordable than many nearby communities, our overall experience has included several concerns that future residents may want to keep in mind. When we toured the property, we were told that serious maintenance problems were rare and that pest issues were usually tied to cleanliness. However, prior to moving in, there was already an ant infestation in our unit, and the apartment didn’t appear to have been properly cleaned. Within days of settling in, we also began noticing cockroaches. Pest control is only available on Mondays, so if you notice an issue later in the week, you have to wait several days for assistance. When we reached out to the leasing office for help, we didn’t receive much support or urgency regarding the situation. We have also dealt with ongoing maintenance issues. The hot water has been shut off multiple times without advance notice, with notifications typically sent shortly before the interruption. Additionally, our kitchen sink continues to drip despite repeated maintenance requests, and the water temperature throughout the apartment is inconsistent. Although maintenance is friendly and has addressed these concerns, the fixes have only been temporary. Another concern is the updated parking policy. Vehicles are being towed if parking stickers are not very visibly displayed on the windshield. Recovering a towed car costs $300, plus $20 for a replacement sticker. The sticker includes the property name and assigned parking space number, which could raise safety concerns for some residents. Overall, if any of this is a concern to you, I would suggest looking into a different complex.

I had always had my eye on Chesapeake from the first time I seen it when I first moved to Fort Worth and now since moving back, I finally have the opportunity to live here and I must say...they did not disappoint!! I absolutely love my apartment. The staff, Davianna and Rob, are kind and professional. So far I have not had any issues except loving the place too much lol I have been in a lot of apartments and here is by far the best one. It's quiet, the community is respectful of everyone's privacy, and so far NO pest problem 🥳. I hope that this continues to be an amazing place for me and my family so I can recommend others here 😁

Honestly, if you're looking for a safe place, THIS IS NOT IT. My family has had our car broken into three times — each time the window was smashed. The first time, they managed to steal some of our belongings. After that, we were more cautious. The kitchen is infested with cockroaches. Right next to our apartment, it seems like they’re selling drugs. Many people come and go at all hours — 1, 3, 4, 5 a.m. — and the office does nothing to stop it. There are no security cameras, and if something happens in the complex, management takes no responsibility whatsoever. To make things worse, if you decide to move out, they don’t return your deposit. Instead, they charge you for damages they themselves caused during poor repairs. The main gate is also broken most of the time, allowing anyone to enter the property freely. I do not recommend this place. It’s not safe, not worth the money. Protect your family.
