I really wanted to love living here because the office staff has always been kind and respectful. Unfortunately, the staff can only do so much, and the ongoing issues with the property outweigh the positives. The biggest disappointment is the amenities we're paying for but rarely get to use. The pool is almost never open, even during extreme heat, and instead of finding a way to keep it available for residents while addressing rule violations, it just stays closed. It feels like everyone is being punished for the actions of a few. The gym is only accessible during office hours, which makes very little sense when most residents work those same hours. We're paying for amenities that many of us can't even use. If those amenities aren't consistently available, rent should reflect that. The explanations for some of these policies are frustrating. Residents are told the gym can't be open because of the office door lock, but installing secure access doesn't seem like an impossible problem to solve. The visitor parking policy is another issue. A guest who visits for just 2 or 3 hours counts the same as someone staying an entire day. Limiting guests to three visits per week and seven per month is excessive. An hourly system would be much more reasonable and fair. Other ongoing concerns include: • The front gate often doesn't work. • Cars are regularly broken into or stolen. • Trash around the property is excessive. • There is black mold in the hallways. • The water pressure is terrible. • Online rent payments are no longer available, creating unnecessary inconvenience, especially when rent payments have been misapplied or lost in the past. • The towing policies often feel unfair. Living here has started to feel more restrictive than comfortable. Just because this is an affordable housing community doesn't mean residents shouldn't have access to clean, safe, well-maintained amenities and reasonable policies. Families deserve better, too. There are very few community activities or events, so children have little to do besides wander the property. Again, the office staff has always been pleasant, and I appreciate how they treat residents. My concerns are with the property's management decisions and the lack of meaningful improvements. Sadly, because of all of these ongoing issues, I will not be renewing my lease.
