They are affordable and the staff is amazing. They are significantly larger than others in this price range and management even completely replaced my AC this summer when it was having an issue. It was replaced with a heat pump and cut my electric usage nearly in half.

Good for a budget. The area isn't the best and there's lots of cigarette buds everywhere, but for the price I'd say it's good. The walls are very thick (ceilings not as much). Had a bug here or there but mostly just crickets that crawl in from outside. One downside is there is hardly no storage space, especially in the kitchen.

These apartments are amazing, especially if you're on a budget! I have a one bedroom at this complex, and it's updated, modern, and the floor plan is spacious. The leasing office was so helpful with the application and move in process, and continue to answer questions promptly. I would recommend this complex to any close friend :)

Very helpful management! Lauren, one of the leasing agents, was so sweet when she helped me find my apartment last September. They are always running specials and trying to make our apartments better and our lives a little easier! I gave The Edge 4 stars because of some of the residents not taking care of things and minor details like lack of cabinet space in the kitchen. But I’m liking the improvements so far and I’m excited to see the changes!

The Edge Apartments are some of the worst run apartments in Denton. They are surrounded by section 8 Housing, just about every night there were people going through the dumpsters looking for things people had thrown away that they could sell. The apartments are infested with roaches. They come once a month and spray your apartment with poison the roach problem is so bad. One of the Managers Kelly Galbraith was absolutely horrible to work with. The roof of my apartment leaked water all down the wall several times after a hard rain. When I moved out they charged me a fee to repaint the walls even after I showed her pics of the water running down the walls. They took all of my deposit money, and charged me $100 extra. I have always gotten 100% of my deposit back, so if you think you are getting a good deal on a cheap apartment, they will screw you on the deposit too. My apartment was absolutely filthy when I moved in. I documented this with pictures, and when I moved out and presented them with evidence of how it was they basically said too bad, you owe us. The apartments are actually close to campus, so I guess thats a plus. Overall I would highly advise to stay away from the Edge, or any of the associated Concrete Jungle Properties locations.
