Gateway At Denton

I’ve only lived at Gateway at Denton for a couple of months, but I already love it here! The staff has been amazing since day one, super friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond whenever I need something. The amenities are definitely a huge plus, too. I’ve really enjoyed using everything the community offers, and it’s made my experience feel even more like home. Overall, I’ve had such a great time here so far that I’m seriously considering re-signing my lease for next year. I definitely recommend Gateway at Denton to anyone looking for a comfortable, supportive, and well-run place to live!

The staff are very friendly and the overall place looks very nice. I also enjoy the occasional events held bringing people together. My personal problems with staying here this year would be with wifi inconsistencies, and the water-damaged ceiling not being addressed. Something that confused me being that the maintenance team used my kitchen knife without permission to do the work order, like shouldn’t their available tools be enough to do the job?

I know everyone’s experience can be different and I may have had many strokes of bad luck, But having lived here for almost 3 months now, there isn’t one good thing I could say about it. We’ve had an ant problem in our bathrooms, the AC has gone out 4 times since we’ve been here and they take hours to come and fix it, they tow your car even when it’s registered in the resident portal, and the employees clearly don’t care about us. It shouldn’t take 4 phone calls and 3 work orders to come and fix the air conditioning while we sit in an 83 degree apartment. If you’re thinking about living here just be weary that this sorta thing could happen to you. Safe to say my lease will not be renewed come July.

Moving into Gateway, back in august was a easier process than the apartment I was at before hand. Communication between the office and us while moving in was great. Got information I need as was able to move in at a earlier date for college marching. Only slight problems with the unit when I moved in but were quickly handled which made this so much better. Maintenance has also been helpful when handling all the issues. The updated amenities have been great as well, with the new pool and the improved Gym. Especially with the price point I am currently at.

I love this place. I’ve lived here for a month and it’s been amazing. If you read your lease throughly, there are no hidden fees or anything. They worked with my schedule and the Leasing office team were diligent in getting me a place that fit my needs. Maintenance is on top of it as well. After I submitted my inspection, within 24 hours someone was in to take care of the problems. For a fully furnished apartment, the price is amazing. They bill based on usage which I love because I’m very mindful of taking showers that are quick and not washing clothes twice and such. The front desk people are so sweet and kind and always make me feel at home. If I were you, I’d give this place a chance. They’ve really gotten to become a lovely place to live.
