I've lived here for 8 years, and finally moving out! Don't expect the office staff to return any communication, and it doesn't seem to matter who it is (currently on the 4th manager). Don't expect to be able to walk into the office to speak to a person either, because some how no one is there during business hours. Also, don't expect any of the washing machines on the north side to ever work or be fixed. The pool will persistently be closed for one reason or another despite their best attempts. Expect flooding, leaks, no hot water, water to get shutoff w/o notice, and roaches. Any contractor work that they hire to do anything will do a crap job that immediately needs repairs. The only good thing about the complex has been the maintenance men. They are timely, actually fix things, despite being constantly understaffed and underpaid.

10+++!! I cannot say enough good things about the Property Manager, J. In my 20+ years in the real estate industry, working alongside fellow Realtors and Apartment Prop. Managers, J is hands down the best in the bizz. Always quick to reply, solution driven, plus top tier client service across the board. The apartment units are adorable, and great quality and condition. Thank you, J!!!

I would like to give my thanks to Jay, he is AWESOME.!!! I came into Coronado Villas to check out a new home for my family and i, and he made it feel like i was already a resident there. He catered to my needs and was good to my children! Definitely made the atmosphere feel homie and full of love. Wish more leasing offices had people like him. Will definitely consider making this a place for us..!!

We first reached out to management in early January, well before the required 60-day notice period, because our lease was ending in August and we wanted to explore options. Despite this, the original apartment manager failed to note or address any of our concerns, and after months of back and forth with no resolution, the manager was abruptly replaced. When we explained our situation to the new manager, they initially assured us we could sign a 6-month lease (our preferred option), only to later say it would not be approved. This led to more unnecessary back and forth, along with a rent increase of over $300 compared to our current rate AND well above market prices for similar properties in the area with the same square footage and amenities. This was especially frustrating given the unresolved issues we had already raised, such as broken washers, the pool never opening, and other amenity/management problems. Our biggest frustration was that, despite contacting management months in advance, we were not given a clear solution until just days before our original lease ended. Communication throughout this process was inconsistent, with emails and questions often left unanswered, and when we did meet with management in person, they often came across as annoyed and at times disrespectful. We also felt the new management made little effort to address or remediate either the ongoing property issues or the poor handling of our requests. In the end, they finally gave us the 6-month lease we had asked for from the very beginning, but the lack of accountability, professionalism, and responsiveness made the experience unnecessarily frustrating and stressful.

I recently visited this apartment community with my family, and we were genuinely impressed with the entire experience. From the moment we walked in, Jay, the property manager, greeted us with a warm smile and an energy that instantly put us at ease. He was not only professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly personable and down-to-earth. It’s rare to meet someone in his role who truly enjoys what they do—and it shows. Jay took his time showing us around, answered all our questions with patience, and even shared helpful insights we hadn’t considered. His friendly demeanor, sense of humor, and genuine interest in helping us find the right fit made the visit feel less like a tour and more like catching up with a trusted friend. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, and clearly cared for, reflecting the pride Jay takes in managing the property. We left feeling confident, informed, and truly excited about the potential of calling this place home. Highly recommend visiting—and if you get the chance to meet Jay, you’re in great hands!
