Staff overall seemed nice and helpful when I lived at City Parc but if you can help it, please do NOT move here. Our very first move-in day was essentially a cleaning day with all the dust covering the included furniture. We also lived on the first floor which invited its own host of problems, the main one being the cockroaches and millipedes that would frequently get into our bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen from the gaping cracks between the floors and walls. No matter how many times they came to spray, we always had them. Even my very last day cleaning (again, because dust gets everywhere because the vents most likely don’t get changed as often as they should), there was a cockroach in my bathtub. This isn’t even including the general rundown feel of the apartments, the wasp nests that would gather ON our front door frame, and the A/C that would go out in the summer because nobody had been putting coolant in it. For $2000+ a month between my roommate and I, the issues we dealt with here were outrageous. It 100% feels like they take advantage of the fact that college students need to be close to attend class and the thousands of dollars in loans they’re eventually going to owe. If I could ask for a full refund and my fear of bugs back, I would. My partner and I just got approved for a LUXURY apartment three-quarters of the price and 200+ more square feet in a much better area, trust me folks, there are other options out there!

Be very careful during the move-out process and make sure you have someone officially check your unit before turning in your keys. We were told everything looked fine when we moved out. We left on Saturday morning, returned the keys, and made sure the unit was clean, locked, and completely empty. A month later, we received a bill for two bags of trash that management claimed they had to dispose of. The photos they sent showed clothing items that we have never owned. Despite going through a lengthy process to explain the situation, we are still receiving emails asking us to pay a past-due balance. The units themselves are great, and the property is nice overall. However, based on our experience, I recommend being extremely thorough and documenting everything during move-out. Unfortunately, the office staff was not helpful in resolving this issue.

I have only had great experiences when visiting City Parc! The staff are so helpful and friendly (especially Michael! He did a great job of showing me around the tour path and answered all my wonky housing questions.) I would definitely recommend it to other students :-)

Great place to stay at with practice rooms, if you are a music major, leasing office staff is helpful, the gym is very nice and lots of machines/weights/straps you can use for the machines, maintenance usually helps out within a few hours or a day when you put a service request. Washing machines and dryers are great. Kitchen is well put together. Good place to stay at for your first apartment!

Ever since I first came to Denton I started hanging out with some art students who lived at CityParc. It was always my favorite place to just feel at peace close to school and I could never explain why. Now that I finally live here, I never want to leave. I wish I could buy one of these units and just live here forever. I've lived in fancy condominiums in places like Santa Fe, NM, which do have more balcony space and other extras like that. But nothing matches the feeling of peace I feel when I'm here at home. CityParc is the best place to live in Denton.
