*** UPDATED 1/22/26 *** BEWARE! I have lived here for a year, and the customer service has deteriorated significantly. During “office hours,” the office is often closed, with doors locked and lights out. Emails are not always responded to promptly if at all. In less than a year, there has been three different maintenance teams and property managers. The maintenance team has a habit of not fixing building security issues, but they’re quick to close out those service requests within 24 hours as “completed,” even when nothing has been fixed. The pool has been on the dirty side this summer so much so it was recently drained. Disposed furniture in the back does not get removed which attracts the local homeless. It’s clear that no one is managing the office effectively or caring about the safety of the community. The parking garage only has six EV charging stations (one of them is broken), but tenants often use them for daily parking spots, which is not allowed. Despite this, the office does nothing to enforce the policy. During the summer, the noise level facing the pool can be unbearable. The office does nothing to enforce the two guests per tenant policy. On weekends, there are parties of six, eight, or even ten people, and I’ve seen larger gatherings. The loud and obnoxious guests outnumber the tenants by a significant margin, usually five to one, making for an unpleasant living experience. I recently renewed my lease thanks to Julie’s assistance. I didn’t want to go through the hassle and expense of searching for a new apartment. My direct neighbors are respectful and quiet, and my furniture layout perfectly fits my floor plan. The area is walkable, with about five different coffee shops within a three-block radius. You can also easily access the Katy Trail in less than 10 minutes. There are bars and nightlife options right up the street. However, unless there are significant improvements to the office’s incompetence and disregard for tenant safety, I’m unlikely to renew my lease again in a year. UPDATE 1/22/26: After discussing the numerous issues mentioned in my review, including some not even mentioned, with the property and resident manager, I was assured that things would improve. However, six months later, nothing has changed. There have been no significant improvements or fixes. Customer service remains virtually nonexistent, with the office closed during business hours and emails constantly ignored. The maintenance team continues to be incompetent and lazy, neglecting to address serious building security issues. They refuse to fix multiple security doors, leaving them broken for months or even longer. One of the garage gates frequently breaks and gets stuck in the open position, making the entire building vulnerable to non-tenants and intruders. This past summer, the maintenance/office team refused to fix the garage gate that was open for an entire two months. I managed to catch the resident manager in the office at the time, asking for an update because apartment security is a major concern for most tenants. The update was that the gate was still broken. I then asked a simple question: Is there a software system that controls the gate? After reviewing their back-end system, I fixed the two-month-old broken gate in just five minutes. It shouldn’t take a tenant to do their job. For the cost to live here, I am disappointed in the lack of customer service, enforcement of basic 101 apartment rules and the careless attitude from the office related to serious building security issues. To add insult to injury, if you own an electric vehicle, the office now charges an additional $2 per charge to use their third party charging stations (despite already paying $420 a year to park and $300 a year for amenities), in addition to the higher charge rate compared to Tesla during non-peak hours.

I've been in real estate for 14+ yrs, I own my own firm. Prejudice practices here. CAUTION. I'm a woman of color. Leasing agent made a comment during the tour I disregarded. Then Grace C just took it over the top in follow-up email. For any real estate professional, there's a thing referred to as "steering" that part of the federal Fair Housing Act, it's when you steer prospects to an area of town or housing you think they can afford or would be more comfortable in based on their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, or disability. I did a walk-in tour, because I couldn't schedule a tour at a time I needed. They had someone there who was assisting that property, so he didn't work there. When I arrived, a maintenance person came in behind me. As any polite person I held the door, he simply walked through as if I was the Door Man and it was my job and went into an office for something. He didn't even acknowledge me, even with a thank you. And no he wasn't carrying anything. Post-Tour, I was busy as I was in town to apartment shopping plus meetings. Four days later I'm finally able to review all my tour info. I had 2 emails from 1 leasing person Patrick, PLUS I have 4 emails from Grace C. EXCESSIVE. I responded to both Patrick and Grace letting them know why I was delayed and that I have interest in other buildings. I didn't specify why. Grace C responds immediately stating "One of our neighboring communities, Windsor West Lemmon, may have available apartments that meet your preferences. I'll reach out to you about them." Referring me based on what? My prior email simply stated I has interest in other building in the area. To her I guess she thought I couldn't afford this building I visited as the "referral" was to another building significantly cheaper in a different area. To Owner: You can check your cameras if you wish to identify your rude entitled employee onsite who thought me the "door man". It was around 235pm on Wednesday Dec 3. He went to the office on the far right. You know my overall experience is worth reporting to the real estate commission.

This place is where sleep goes to die. The fire alarm blasts in the middle of the night for months, and management does nothing. Imagine finally dozing off, only to be jolted awake at 2 AM—again. Rinse and repeat. It’s like living inside a malfunctioning smoke detector. If you enjoy constant false alarms and an office that shrugs off complaints, this is your dream home. Otherwise, run. Also all 5 stars reviews here are from profiles with 1-2 reviews, keep that in account.

I have lived at Windsor Turtle Creek for about a month now. Eli was a great help in making the entire process run smoothly. He answered all my questions during the tour and answered my e-mails with follow-up questions promptly. The move-in was a breeze thanks to the loading area and service elevator being in a convenient place. I am very happy with my choice in apartment complex and I cannot get over my view of beautiful Dallas from my balcony.
