AI Review Summary
While some reviews praise the friendly and attentive staff, particularly in the office and maintenance teams, and appreciate the value for money, many prospective and current residents have raised significant concerns. Common issues include unreliable utilities like hot water and internet, persistent pest problems, overflowing trash, and a general lack of upkeep, with amenities like the pool and gym often being unusable. Additionally, security is a repeated concern due to broken gates and a visible homeless population, compounded by difficult and often costly parking for both residents and visitors.

Don't move here. The service is terrible. The power goes out regularly in the hallways, the internet is unreliable, they don't answer during office hours, there are rats and cockroaches, and you have to fumigate at your own expense because they ignore you. Some neighbors leave their trash outside their doors in the hallways for days (even days!), which causes a bad smell and attracts more pests, etc., etc.

Beside the fact that we haven't had hot water for over a month. Now the exterior lighting is out, seems they can't pay their bills. Homeless problem because of holes in the fence and the abandoned building that burnt down. Pool water is green. Garbage is overflowing, internet is out because the bill wasn't paid for. If I could give this place zero stars and just leave the review, I would. Update: Turns out that we didn't have hot water because of a gas leak. I suppose that we were lucky that there wasn't an explosion.

Since moving to Tide's Apartments, I've loved it. The staff is very friendly, and the manager, Normita, is very kind and always helps you with whatever you need. I'm very happy to live there and highly recommend Tide's in North Dallas.
