I wrote a review back in August and updated later, but wanted to make sure this was still showing up on the top. DO NOT LIVE HERE! Back when I moved in August, I was getting roaches, around a couple a month, totaling around to 10 or more within the span of August - December. After management gave me their fumigation services and pest control treatment every so often, the problem was still not going away. In fact, they told me once over email that the pest control team said my apartment was "very clean" and the roaches just seem to be "passing through" (as if that is making things better, I still am having roaches...) Top it off, they said they "found the source" CLEARLY NOT! Because I have had roaches again every couple of weeks or within the span of a few days. They will tell me their pest control is coming, yet all the guy does is do two measly sprays per room and clearly... it isn't that effective. They also tried to give me tips, as if I did not try to remedy this issue on my own. Tips include basic useless information of closing the drains. News flash! I have been doing that since the first one! Clearly the drains aren't the source. I also have asked them to do an inspection and check for possible entry points (which of course, they didn't do). Also, you would think that maybe after seeing that their useless pest control isn't that effective, maybe they would send better pest control or reimburse for professional outside services (such as terminix), and they of course have not. On top of the outdated aesthetic of the apartment, you can also expect a roach problem that will not be solved. I wish I read the review of one person who also mentioned a pest problem and took it seriously.

The building itself is old and has older appliances, but the property and apartments are well maintained. The front office staff at the Chase were always super friendly and helpful. Shout out especially to Zach and Sandy!

These apartments are so outdated. Lots of plumbing and electrical issues. Leaky faucets and tubs. Maintenance comes to fix it but it goes right back to leaking causing the paint to peel in the tiny tub. They shut off the water at times for half a day without notice for a supposed emergency then tell the residents to go to the gym to take a shower and get ready for work. Light bulbs constantly go out. Old wiring, short circuits cause entire rooms to go out (deal with it, comes with the age of the apartments). Electricity always tends to go out during thunderstorms, especially with this complex. Very small Kitchens and bathrooms with laminate flooring are cheap causing them to damage and warp easily (they will charge you for new flooring on move out). I could also hear everything my neighbors were doing and saying through the walls. Speaking of the walls, I drilled a hole in the wall to hang a mirror and there was mold (nasty black mold). They spend so much money making these complexes look beautiful from the outside which makes it appealing but have done nothing to resolve the real issues their residents are facing. They over paint everything so it looks and smells new when your touring but once you start living in it everything starts to fall apart and peel revealing the true age. If you look closely when you’re touring you’ll notice the walls and some of the doors have been painted over so carelessly there are multiple hairs within the dried paint that it starts to look like art (so disgusting to have to constantly look at in your kitchen while cooking). I was able to actually peel some of the hairs off. You would be paying way too much for what your getting with this place. With all the building they are doing for the recreational center, prices were bound to increase and I knew they weren’t trying to spend any money on these actual issues so I left and moved to a much newer complex paying the same price. It feels like I got a huge upgrade after living at the village and makes me appreciate my new place so much more.

*** UPDATE *** It has been a little over a month since their "fumigation" services and I have had 7 or 8 roaches in total, with two being after their "fumigation". No one has professionally inspected my apartment for possible openings or entry ways within the cabinets or wall. Additionally, their pest control seems pretty useless if I am getting two roaches within the span of 6 days. DO NOT LIVE HERE! Terrible. Have only been living here for a month and have had 3 roaches already. Also when I moved in, I noticed tiny dead bugs in the corners on the floor. Their “pest control” is weak and useless. You are paying a hefty price for a roach + pest filled unit with an outdated interior. Live somewhere else.

We have had a wonderful experience living at the Park! It is very quiet and safe. Maintenance has been prompt and helpful when issues arose. Although not the most updated, we felt our apartment was very cozy and homey. The front office staff is very helpful as well. The Village amenities can’t be beat and we love walking around the neighborhood. We are actually a little sad to move away!
