I lived here with my friend throughout last winter. The senior manager — the very person who was supposed to support her living experience — showed zero respect. I was physically in the office when they apologized to her, but that only happened after we escalated the issue to a higher-level manager. They repeatedly lied, postponed maintenance, and at the end, the bookkeeper still deducted the deposit without proper explanation. Nothing about the process was transparent or professional.

😡Nightmare experience. Do not choose this property. I have email correspondence to support every part of this review. During my first winter, squirrels were living in the attic above my unit. The noise continued through the night for almost a month and repeatedly disrupted my sleep. Despite multiple reports, management gave inconsistent answers, lied to my face, and a senior staff member even made inappropriate comments about my appearance and race. It still took them an entire week to fix the holes in the roof. This winter, the animal issue happened again. It took four days for them to respond, and even then, the problem was never fully resolved. I could still hear noise in the attic on my move-out date. Good luck to future residents. When I moved out, the deposit deductions were not clearly itemized, and several charges contradicted the information previously provided. The lack of transparency and honesty was shocking. Contradictions and lies seem to be their standard way of treating residents. No one should have to tolerate this attitude. Worst place I’ve ever lived. One star is only for Hannah and Michael — the only professional and genuinely good people at this property.

I have been living here for 4 years now since 2021. The maintenance team are great. The management are great. They do an impeccable job of addressing to the needs of the tenant. The rent increases are reasonable with hikes between 5%-10%. No hidden fees. Everything is transparent. Safe community, very well maintained. Special thanks primarily to Nancy and Callie, Lex, maintenance team for being very efficient throughout the tenure. If it weren't for "Return To Office" policy, I would continue to stay in this place as long as I could. Compared to other places. Village green provides an option of early lease termination. Its 1 month rent + One time termination fee (Mostly 1.5 month of rent). No problems in utilities, very well maintained unit, No roaches, bed bugs or pests problem. Very convenient place to live. Following advice for new tenants:- 1. If you are leasing now. Try to come with a mindset of long term tenure. (At-least 3 years). 2. Voice your concerns in person by visiting the leasing department before you escalate. They prioritize you and address your issues almost immediately. 3. Be upfront and thoroughly go through the lease agreement. Advice to management * Please see if you are able to exempt the rent increase to long term tenants. * Do provide some concessions for tenants who are willing to sign the lease on the same day before they look into other options. You will be surprised to see the interest in this.

I lived here for two years and haven’t had a bad experience. I loved my time here and the location is so central to 75 and Dallas access. I loved having the gates at entrances and always felt safe here with village patrol making rounds day and night. Maintenance was always fantastic and so timely. I will miss this place in a way. Utilities were very affordable too!
