The Springs Apartments

This property must do something immediately about the water draining onto Cedar Springs during winter. It is causing major ice and I saw an accident. Do something immediately.

The apartments are going down hill. The management does the bare minimum m. Trying to get in contact with coporate is a run around and it’s because they mix business with pleasure and that’s from hearing one manager tell how they are good friends. You need things fixed, they tell you about how much it cost to repair things and makes you wonder if it’s coming out of their own pockets. The gates barely work properly. They keep paying to so call have the same repairs fixed which is crazy because obviously the first 3 times it isn’t fixed. They rather keep spending money the cheap way to have things fixed then to properly have things done correctly. They never answer the phone in the office. They don’t even advertise the property well. Yes it’s a ok place to live because of the area it is in but I guess you get what you pay for. Everything about this place is OUT OF DATE. Can’t even pay rent online because the manager doesn’t want to learn technology so therefore others have to live according to another person’s preference. I think new management is needed that will keep this place looking better and at least push for updated appliances. So disappointed.

Loved loved loooooooved this place! Stayed here for 1.5 years till my career took me to a different city. Management was always very kind and prompt to answer questions. The pool was always open during pool season, maintenance was reliable, rent was affordable, there are great areas to run nearby (Katy Trail and Highland Park are super close).

We've lived in our unit for over 10 years and love it. Mgmt is very quick to respond to any maintenance issue that may arise. Great location & up kept landscaping. Rent has gone up but for that area it's a good deal.

I have had a positive experience at The Springs and just renewed my lease for another term. The location is good, and I dare you to try to find a cheaper place in Oak Lawn. No, its not super modern, and some of the appliances are on the older side, but the layout of the apartments are unique, and management doesn't put up with any crap. I had new carpet and surfaces put on my counters before I moved in so that was nice. Be very specific in your maintenance requests and you are golden. I had to have my dryer and garbage disposal fixed a few times before it was good to go, however they never ignored a maintenance request, and were pretty quick about checking it out. That is the only minor complaint I would have. The complex is really quiet and there are very few kids. Pool/Hot tub - Yes Covered Parking - Yes Pet Friendly - Yes Gym - No
