I loved this building but unfortunately management was MIA most of the time. You can tell the owners view this property for profit only and don’t care about the residents. During my first month of moving in, the security officer tried to break into my apartment at 2 am because nobody updated him I moved in and he thought I was squatting or something. We went months without getting mail for a section of the apartment. I had to bring this up multiple times to the management and it was never resolved. Peoples sensitive documents like tax forms and bank letters were left in the lobby. The windows were also sealed. I was told “this is for safety”. Nah dog that’s a fire code violation. So after it was reported to the city, management sent people to circle saw the window open without installing a pully system or opening mechanism in case of fire or for ventilation. The building isn’t really ADA friendly either except a ramp. Multiple of the maintenance men were creepy as well. Ps. The shuffleboard table downstairs is filled with spiders.

Amanda Shapiro was the BEST while touring with me today. She is so accommodating, and friendly. She goes above and beyond for residents + future tenants. I LOVED the vibe of the complex as well, the historic touches were so unique and beautiful. 20/10 recommend The Principal, ask to tour with Amanda, too!

I wanted to take a moment to say, The Principal Residences is a truly unique place that beautifully combines historic character with modern finishes. The charm of the building’s history is evident throughout, while the updated interiors and amenities provide all the comfort and convenience of contemporary living. The building itself is full of character, with unique floor plans that truly set it apart from other properties. I met with leasing agent Alexis a couple times toured the property. Her professionalism and knowledge were evident, and she made sure that it wasn’t just another person in an apartment, but truly a good fit for my family needs and lifestyle. Overall, The Principal is a remarkable place to call home.

This is a great building with so much character and history. Love the floors and windows and waking up to so much natural lighting. Alexis has been a blessing with any questions or concerns I've had since living here and has always gone above and beyond. Definitely recommend this place and love calling it home!

I lived in an upstairs unit for almost 3 years . Yes the walls are thin, yes the floors are creaky and yes sometimes management is slow to fix things. For the most part, it’s a gorgeous space. The light from the windows and view of the dog park was very charming. I would’ve continued living in the apartment but I ended up buying something. I’m gonna give it 4 star rating .
